Hi. I'm Ciej (ts-yey or chey). That's my username and my real name.
I've always valued dreams as a source of inspiration and information. Inspiration, as I am a writer, and I've found that the process of writing is similar to the process of creating worlds and dreams. Information, as I am a psychologist, and have found my dreams as a source of communication between myself and my subconscious mind. My family also has a deep history of dream prognosis, on which my opinions often teeter between scientific and supernatural. (It feels as though whenever I come to a conclusion, something throws a wrench in that theory.)
I went into a dream-slump when I entered college. There was so much to do that I did not want to do that it forced my brain into auto pilot. I sleep walked through life and began to wake walk through my dreams. Only recently have I begun to recall my dreams regularly, and I have decided that I would not squander this second chance and pour my efforts in dreaming and therefore this community.
I'm going to try to be an active, informative, and supportive member of this community. I feel like I have quite a bit to contribute, and equally, if not more so, to learn.
