a small hello from a canadian dreamer

not quite sure what to say at the moment...other then hello.

Been able to LD for as long as I can remember... am now using that ability to try and find someone. Might be a long shot, but it's worth a try.

stumbled here through google... everything happens for a reason.

perhaps I may get to know a few of you, or I just may keep to myself... who knows. my business is more in dreamland then the waking world anyway heh

      take care

      Welcome to DV!

How long have you been able to LD? And, I hope I'm not intruding but if I am, feel free to ignore me... I just got a little curious, who are you trying to find?

Anyway... sweet dreams and good luck!!!

Welcome to DV, Cheshirecat! Don't worry, many of us here seem to have made dreamland the priority!

      Good luck in your search...

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

I've already answered how long I've been able to LD... as long as I can remember. Alright, perhaps that's a small lie. I can remember what caused me to be able to do it... I guess I might have been 7 or 8. Maybe younger. But I was (I guess) having this reoccurring dream that an alien or some creature that looked like one was looming over me at night. I would hide under my covers and be able to see its silhouette easily as my window had been right behind it.

I was never able to cry out, i'd make a noise like a dog that's been de-barked. i'd just wheeze a squeak. Then, one night I got mad. I told myself it was just a dream and I could make it go away. And I did.

From then on, LD has been no harder then flipping a switch.

A lot of nights I choose NOT to LD... when I let dreams happen as they happen, it's relaxing.. (aside from nightmares) and like watching a movie. LDing is control and can get exhausting I find.

One of my absolute favorite things to do in my dreams is fly. I do it whenever I have the switch flipped.

As for who I am trying to find. It might sound corny, or cliché.. but i'm trying to find the one i'm meant to be with. I may never find him. But i'm to the point where I accurately recite my name address and phone number to someone I see somewhat regularly. If he is a real person i'm talking to- (or isn't) i'm hoping one night I WILL find him and he will remember and be able to contact me.

Last night I even wrote the info on a mirror. I heard once you can't read in dreams, that everything was backwards... heh that's a myth. Granted my handwriting didn't look like mine, but it was very legible.

      anyway, i'm rambling. take care

      from me too!
I fill my heart with fire, with passion, passion for what makes me nostalgic. A unique perspective fuels my fire, makes me discover new passions, more nostalgia. I love it.
