      It's been awhile...

      So, hello!

      I'm a user from way back in the old days, apparently I joined in 2009. I didn't post a ton, but I used to read these forums religiously in high-school and eventually stopped keeping up with it once I got to the point where I was having lucid dreams semi-regularly. Unfortunately, those days have passed! I haven't had a lucid dream in a few years and recently have found myself wanting to have them again. So like anyone, I think I ought to start from the beginning. And it's been so long, I figured why not introduce myself again.

      So, I'm Lifeinsteps! I first started my dream journey as apparently a 10th grader in high-school (though I think I read the forums for awhile before I ever made an account), and now I'm 25 and almost done with college and have made my way back again. I hope to learn some new stuff that people have come up with in the past 10 years!

      It's nice to meet everyone! Or will be, once you see this thread.

      Gonna try to get into using the DV dream journal as a daily habit too. Even when I was getting lucid dreams I was too lazy to journal as a teenager...

      Thanks for the encouragement monsa! I've had a few dips back in the pool of lucid dreaming, but it's been awhile since I've been quite as excited about the idea as I've felt the last couple days.

      My main goal right now is to get that WILD! I love the feeling of passing into sleep while conscious, and can't wait to do it again! I'll take any lucid dreams my brain will give me, but I want that WILD!

      Looking forward to the Tasks of July so I can try some monthly tasks for the first time ever!

      Yes. I just joined a group, and so far experiences have been amazing.

      I agree, also. There are no coincidences, and every choice that we make, at least every choice that feels right, we've already made. We just have to figure out why? (having a matrix moment)....

      Absolutely!, I'm not familiar with shared dreaming...But I got to say my dream recall has increased exponentially since I joined and committed to lucid dream, awakening to a whole new reality!!!
      We've already taken the first step, and that is to be here...
