Thread: Hello from Baldr!

Hello everyone!

What a pleasure to be part of this community!

Let me tell you a bit about myself: I got into lucid dreaming for the first time a decade or so ago and made some attempts to become proficient in it but, alas, real life got in the way (as it always does, doesn't it?). The last couple months I had a lot of time to think thanks to certain a global spanning issue that forced me to spend more time locked away at home than usual. I'm sure I need not say more on the topic! In any case I found my way back into lucid dreaming and rekindled my love for this art. That was a couple months ago and my motivation is unbroken.

I've spent some months lurking around on different YT channels and forums, bingewatching and bingereading heaps and heaps of videos and posts. DreamViews proved to be a goldmine for valuable information. I know the forum is not what it used to be a couple years ago but still my wish to partake in a community rather than just being a bystander grew over time and here I am. Hopefully I can give something back to the community. However, I'm still very much a novice in the art of lucid dreaming.

A little bit about my experience so far: I'm getting a lucid dream about once a month although lately it's been more like fortnightly. I hope I can keep it up and improve on it. Next to the obligatory dream journaling, which I rather enjoy a lot, I mostly dabble in WILDs so far but also got some DILDs here and there. I'm also very intrigued by ADA and practise a light-weight form of it in order to improve both my general mindfulness and my meditation practice.
