Ive never tried lucid dreaming before though I can control my dreams a little by thinking of a story I make up when im falling asleep and it turns into a dream. I usually dream about horror stuff and want to try to control it so I can make it less freaky. |

What you're doing is dream incubation and it's a great asset to have when trying to lucid dream. I once incubated a dream where I was in a room with a giant RC written on the wall. I immediately did a reality check and became lucid |
