Thread: Rant and Rave, Cry and Complain

Oh, great, and now to top it all off, I'm old! (I guess 23 is old compared to high school age)

But the good news is, after crying about it here, I got a call from someone who I was looking to get a job from, to come in and talk about when I'd start! It's very part-time, but it's money coming in, so I can't complain.

Sorry... I didn't mean anything other than to describe my lack of understanding related to many 'real-life' situations.

I had an unopen container of five alive mango juice (i love that juice), and i opened it and poured it and i heard something solid in it and i was like wtf is that. So i called my mom and she said dump it down the drain and see what it is.

My complain.. I cooked scrambled eggs and french toast and it wasn't very edible What IS the secret to eggs?!

I hate birthdays. Mine gets worse every year.
I was pessimistic about it but I admit I thought I'd get at least a few 'happy birthday's from people other than my parents and grandmother. I suppose I'm even more irrelevant to people than I thought, and my opinion wasn't very high to begin with.

Don't overcook eggs; it makes them rubbery and hard to eat. Add a good amount of butter to them, and cheddar cheese (not the processed square kind, but the solid block kind). Frying pan, spatula, until they're a bit shiny but not quite 'matte'. If they're matte, you've gone too far, especially with the butter and cheese thrown in.

Anyways, the barbeque was just f***ing hell.
As one of the thirty five grade twelve students, I was supposed to volunteer and work at a certain place in the barbeque, be it at the popcorn stand, pony rides, petting zoo, etcetera. So I had signed up with another student to work at the sign-in-slash-registration desk at the school's gate.

What do you know? Ten students show up, and half the attractions and places where people were supposed to be volunteering didn't have anyone working at them. I was stuck at the registration desk by myself and then it started to rain about an hour into the barbeque, and I wasn't supposed to be out in the cold because I had a weakened immune system (or something along those lines) from my tonsillectomy a few weeks back. I felt sick. Also, the student I was supposed to work with there was helping other people, who needed even more help than I. So I was basically stuck there, in the rain, without a waterproof jacket (because I was expecting someone to be able to help me and swap out every ten minutes or so).

I almost got sick, so I went home an hour early. I'm very disappointed about my classmates. And overall, this was just an extremely disappointing night.

This might be weird for some of you kids.
I had my last period a bit less than 2 weeks ago, now I am just having it again.
WTF is this.
I want my freedom.

Haha. I get mine around the first 5 days of each month. Nothing too bad. But, I am in agony for two weeks preceding it, with hot flashes, indigestion, dizzy spells, and other stuff.

It sucks.

Being female sucks.

But we can suffer together.

More complaining from me.. I have hard stomache mus-kelz but my abs don't fully show.. what is this madness!

Have the skillet already hot when you add the eggs, but keep the temp pretty low. I think the main problem people have w/scrambled eggs is using too high a temp.

I was thinking of joining the student council, but now I don't know. How's the student council work anyway?

They make Puffin do everything.

Actually that is how it usually works. Some are there just for status or benefits ( like education points or whatever they get ). Few are interested, even lesser amount them capable. Then there is always a puffin ( ) who cannot stand the unorganized and nonworking council and starts to do something over things. Then most of the people realize that they can just pile up all the work to this individual and everything works fine. Excluding horrible atmosphere, straining relationships and burnout puffin.

Hell that sounds like real politics.

My complain of today is inmature people. What kind of people first raises a hell over trivial things, repeats one argument over and over again and acts like all what I have said didn't happen. Then shuts his phone when you try to reason with him? And blocks all your calls. Seriously. Although the whole thing was obsolete to begin with and I don't really feel like dropping by his house... time will tell.

I got $142. at midnight (child support). I now have $2.00 I put $10 in gas, $5. in smokes and the rest in groceries. Then I drove out to the Farm. There's lightening galore and my oldest son tried to make me stay because he said we were under a warning for hail. I didn't see any. But boy the deer were out in force tonight. I even saw one IN TOWN.
I had to chase down my hubby at 1PM because he forgot to leave me Monday's $50. (which is COMPLETELY gone now). I bothered him at work, which I have never done before but my daughter had her MDT and I needed gas.
The MDT went well enough. We waived the peliminary (sp blah) meeting and we go before the judge on Monday. I rescheduled my sons appointment for later in the month, so I no longer have to clone myself
BUT, my daughter tested positive for opiates. We couldn't figure out what it was from until we got home and she remembered I have given her a couple Tylenol 4's (with codeine). Now I have to call the probation officer and tell her that's what it was from. *sigh*

Other than that, I slept most of the day.

**EDIT**
2 areas on my right foot are now as if alligator skin. No amount of lotion or aloe is changing that. Why now? I have ALWAYS sat on my right foot and it's never developed a callus until now. Maybe it has something to do with the extra weight I'm carrying around now-a-days (a rant in and of itself).

My daughter got into a packet of chocolate donuts I had bought for myself while I was away at the Farm. She ate 2 of them and left the rest on my bedroom floor. The dog ate the rest.

My headaches have eased up tremendously. I broke my 300 mg of Wellbutrin into fourths and take it throughout the day at around 4 hours between dosages. But I have 1/4 left and no money to pick up my new script until tomorrow night. *grrrr*

My daughter is still sick. She had a temp of at least 103 last night (I use my hand and it's never wrong lol). It's completely gone this morning but she feels like vomiting. She has to go to school anyhow

Gah, I'm feeling nauseous. No fun.

I have to take care of my baby brother every day because my parents are so busy! I don't think any mom would trust their kid to a teenager, but no, I got to be different. The only time I get break is school time and when my uncles home, which I spend doing homework, right now I'm taking care of him. He's also so much harder to take care of then the other babies I took care of. I got to finish my project, but can't because I'm taking care of the baby.

Today is the day of great injustice. My two cats will have their balls removed and as member of a male sex, I find that.. You know my fellow men. Although, it has to be done.

Getting fixed was supposed to make my dog much less hyperactive.
It did the opposite though. xD

It pisses me the fuck off when someone starts advising me on something that I'm pretty much an expert on. I spent 5 months of my life in a spiritual center that basically taught to get rid of ALL of our thoughts, and was basically practicing that 24/7 while I was there. It was a strange type of agony that cannot be explained. I see it for what it is now, I take from it the psychological advantages of applying it maybe 5% but not the unfounded spiritual beliefs that went along with it. Like that we have a spirit apart from our thoughts, that there's some 'I' that isn't my mind. No, that part is religion and we have no reason to believe it. Then people start talking about their new-aged meditation stuff that happens to be the newest fad, looking down on me for not ...
I barely remember what I was talking about anymore. It started off focused on 1 person but then I started thinking about other people who've done worse. I'm not even that pissed off anymore.
