GRRRR... the girls DON'T have food poisoning. It's a stomach bug. My hubby just told me the daughter of one of his tech's and a few of her friends have the same thing.
The Grrrr part in all of that means I will likely catch it.
My daughter's almost completely better but she still felt bad enough to miss school- so I need to take her to the Dr. to get an excuse. These absence regulations are a royal pain in my butt.
My daughter's friend, however, is still extremely sick. My daughter's taking care of her now- trying to feed her chicken noodle soup and crackers

I need to scrub the living room shortly but my daughter's taking care of her own bedroom. The way she tells it, she and her friend were reliving the Exorcist. I'm not even going to go back there.
Yeah... I'm a mean mom. I figure if you KNOW you're going to puke and decide to puke on the floor, then you're going to clean it. People have a brain even when they're sick.
You know how she told me she's going to "clean" it? She's going to let the dogs in

I don't think so. That's what bleach is for lol

Ugh... my hubby caught me in a lie. He's not said anything yet but he will.
I got money from him early so I could take my daughter to the Dr. but as the day progressed, I didn't feel like going anywhere so we stayed home.
Hubby asked: "How did the Dr.'s visit go?"
To which I replied: "Uneventful, as we'd known it'd be."

Because then I went on to complain about daughter's health including her vomiting blood (from her throat) and from her right side hurting her when she pressed on it but more so when she lets off. Hubby asked who her doctor was.
I try to back pedal and say: "Today? Or the last time she went?"
"Any time."
"Well, we didn't go today. I felt to bad to go anywhere... I don't remember the names of her last doctor's. The place she usually goes to seems to have a rotating staff and I can't keep up with them all."
again...

He was too busy to say anything about the fib but I feel terrible now

But only because I got caught. It's easier to lie about little stuff than it is to listen to him grumble on and on (about little stuff).

Anyhow.... I'll be watching dear daughter throughout the night. If she's worse in the morning, I'll take her to the ER. At least they'll run some blood work to check on her white blood count. It's not likely appendicitis (the pain isn't constant and feels like 'there's a midget in her stomach stabbing her.') Hubby is almost certain it's PID but she says she's not having sex. I think it's just a cyst on her ovary because she complains about her stomach all the time and usually 2 weeks after her cycle.

Her friend, on the other hand, was taken to the Dr. today. The DR. said he didn't think she had the flu. But her white blood count was fine, so he gave her some anti-nausea medicine and sent her home... which means back to my house lol

Well... woke up to certain words I don't ever wanna hear again: "I think I'm having a heart attack". So ... one car trip later we were at the hospital, and my moms started to feel better. She wasn't having a heart attack, but her blood pressure was very high. I'm thinking she had a panic attack or something, cause she couldn't breath, and she was in a lot of pain. But she's feeling better, thank god. So doctor appointment today and hope it wasn't something bad :/

Hubby still hasn't called me out yet on my lie. He will most likely do so when I ask for the rest of my allowance. If he says nothing then, I'm in the clear

My daughter isn't doing any better. And of course, hubby trusts no doctors in our town so he wants me to take her to the hospital a couple hours away. I have to call his office now to speak with one of his techs to compare symptoms between our daughters. If her pain is a symptom of the flu, I'm not going anywhere. But I have a feeling it's not.

You ever want to pack up and just leave? Like the Into the Wild guy? I do more and more, the only thing that I wouldn't like is the lack of sanitation. But I don't need this shit, not anymore. I don't need my family playing their fucked up passive aggressive games with me. I don't need their fucking judgment anymore. I don't need this shit at all. I just want them all out of my life. Everyone, and all the taint they bring with them.

If they did an EKG, which they should have, they should be able to see if it was just a panic attack.
Take that with a grain of salt though, I learned it from Grey's Anatomy

Along with being retarded. My mom is also stubborn as a mule. Doctor wasn't there, She was suppose to stay the night, and take tests in the morning. Did nothing like that.

I was building a mini set of "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" for a school project. I was using a really sharp knife. It slipped and went right into my thumb. It almost cut off the whole tip of my thumb, and it was hanging off and bleeding EVERYWHERE. I HATE blood and almost passed out. I grabbed a tissue, wrapped it around my thumb, ran out of my room into the kitchen, and showed my mom. She was all calm and I was freaking out. I couldn't even think. She called the doctor, made me wrap a paper towel around it and use pressure, and then we drove thirty minutes to the doctor. I was still shaking and felt like I was about to pass out xD. The doctor made my lay down for like an hour, so I didn't pass out. I had to to get stitches. My thumb had to be numbed so they gave me two numbing shots on both of the sides of my thumb. That didn't work so they had to give me shots actually IN THE CUT. It hurt so bad. In total I got 6 shots in my thumb. I didn't even look at it, or I would have passed out

. Anyway they gave me four stitches, and then I had to get a tetanus AND a flu shot since I havent had those in a long time. So I got a shot in my left arm, and a big shot in my right arm. Anyway i'm all bandaged up, and it stings a little now that the numbing is wearing off. I'm taking motrin though.
