Rant and Rave, Cry and Complain

Blec. I feel like crap. My throat is very sore and I've gotten about 6 hours of sleep in 2 days. The first night was just stupidity and obsession lol. I couldn't sleep because my new crochet project and other projects kept racing through my brain.
Yesterday, my daughter came home to visit. She ended up falling asleep on my desk (after declaring all day that it was the most uncomfortable thing in the world

). I ended up putting a sheet down on the floor and I got a couple hours of sleep but -egad!- how cold that floor is!! I had my space heater right beside me but I still froze.

I took her back to her place at around noon. I love my kids but boy do I love my space too! I tried napping earlier yesterday but I couldn't just because she was in my room. I'm not use to sharing my space any more.

A rave is that she taught me how to find pdf's of current books

I bookmarked Game of Thrones, Red Dragon, World War Z as well as some classics. Oh yeah- plus one book that started it all because she wants me to read it. Divergance, I think it's called. So I have LOTS of reading to do and I don't even have to bother with going to the Library

Another rant is that my eye feels bruised. I got some e-juice in the center of my clearomizer so I was blowing it out. I'm impatient, so I take in a very deep breath then hold my lips sealed over the thing and blow for as long and hard as possible. I thought my eyeball was going to pop out

Now it feels like a lot of pressure is still behind my eye. I didn't even rupture a vessel so I'll live. But it feels very strange

I wont be doing that again!!!

There's no rant for today, I had a math exam that went pretty fine (at least that's what I think atm) and I'm happy today

Zhaylin, Divergence, it's on my must-read list but I'm busy with Chronicles of Siala in this moment. I've heard pretty good reviews about it tho.

My daughter absolutely loved Divergance, so I guess I'll give it a shot. It does sound rather interesting

As for V-day.

It's always been just another day to me. I never got swooped up into the idea of it. I do like the idea of gifts and romance and all that though. Every couple/few months I buy flowers for my hubby. They're never anything magnificant, just a little something to let him know he's in my thoughts and to brighten his day a bit

A new rant is that I read some 20 pages of World War Z and I think it's a complete spoof. I was confused right away but when I got to a part about a guy working at TGI Friday's in Aparteid (sp) Africa, I looked more closely at the sorce of the pdf. It was 7chan or somesuch and there was an edit at the beginning, saying no proofing had been done and the guy who put it up was ashamed to be in the same room as the page

Now I have to look at the real book to see what the heck it should look like.

A rave is that it's snowing again. We should get 3-5 inches tonight. I thought I was over the cold weather and snow. When I left a couple hours ago to go to the store, I was in a lazy, humdrum sort of mood. But then it started snowing and I just wanted to twirl around in it. I guess, if it's snowing, it's not freezing. so I must be sick of only freezing temps

I'm drinking wine for the first time in quite a while!

I don't like celebrating valentine's day either. It just seems kinda cheesy. I've never really liked romance in that way. But I've still enjoyed going to school, seeing people watching around with flowers and more people holding hands and stuff than usual. It really isn't for me, and it isn't normally like me to be gladdened by other people's happinesses... but in this case, for some reason I was.

It was also the last day before Spring Break (or 'reading week' as they're calling it here). So it was a pretty relaxed, awesome day. And I'm free! In the class that usually stresses me out the most, due to the teacher's terrible teaching style, some awesomeness happened. We had a substitute prof because the normal one's wife just had a baby. And the substitute modelled a heart (it's a computer graphics class) for us because of valentine's day. He was also very clear in general - I think I learned more in that one class than all the others combined. And he showed us this, which was done by a research student at the university. Apparently it made the front page of reddit once. I was soo awed. I tried explaining it to my mom and she didn't seem to get why I thought it was so cool (hate when that happens). It's basically software someone wrote which can take any body-like model, with muscles, and figure out exactly how it would most likely walk in real life. It's cool for a lot of reasons, including that it might help us figure out how extinct species walk. Anyway, here it is, the video is kind of funny:

I'm single and actually enjoy valentines day now, mostly because I can do whatever the fuck I want rather than succumb to silly cultural rituals.

That said, my rant is that I drove to work tonight, only to find out it was canceled. Because of the snow this week, they canceled overtime for this weekend because so many people had taken off previous days. Everybody was called... except the quality auditor. So I drove 45 minutes, changed, went down to the floor, turned around, changed, and drove 45 minutes back home.

Rant: Htf do I loose sleepiness when trying to transfer myself from sofa to bed, that's only 3 feet away? I was so completely passed out on the sofa. Close the window, fall into bed. And wide awake. 2 hrs later, still here. I should've stayed on sofa.

Lol, soooo true. I'm staring here into the screen with my blood shot eyes, listening to my cat snoring, and my mind is laughing at me, every time I think of going to sleep. Or reading a book.

Had the best valentine's day in my life so far! I went jogging to the nearby nature park, studied a bit, got my math second chance for a test back and made it. Also nearly finished my pencil drawing of a cat, and I'm very satisfied with it. What more would you want? Two guys asked me if I want to pop some E in the upcoming holidays, lol no thanks bros. Now I will study a bit more.

That's sweet btw Zhaylin, I'm sure he appreciates the flowers. Keep it up.

I hate the fact that because I'm not a Christian people automatically think I worship the devil. I also hate the fact that because I live in 1/9 territory I'm automatically rude and loud.
I despise people that think because someone is a certain age that they're not worthy to whatever the other has to say.

I've had such a very bad week. The only good thing that happened was my birthday on Thursday. And that's about it.
I barely slept in the past couple of days 'cause I kept worrying about things. I was looking forward to finally being able to sleep in today.
And I woke up at 6am with a sore throat. I'm actually so exhausted right now.

Today has been shit aswell. I seriously don't feel like explaining the entire story of what happened so I just took a screenshot.

I just don't get it. I was hoping she'd say yes 'cause I know that she really likes me.
And we have been talking for months now. She makes me so incredibly happy and I can't stop thinking about her.
I've been crying all day and I feel so terrible just 'cause she said no. I cut myself again after being clean for weeks.
Everything that could've gone wrong today actually went wrong ugh
