Ah, no. I'm on Youtube right now though, so I will probably look it up.

There's also word going around that there might be a book or a movie deal. Like how OJ Simpson made money from his book. Can you really imagine a movie though from her perspective?

"Casey Anthony - She Didn't Do It" starring Angelina Jolie.

(or Lindsay Lohan. Whatever floats your boat).

The jury forgot one thing in this case. That a little girl is DEAD! They shouldn't have convicted her just for lying!
Like I said, another Oj case with a female, the only thing that's missing is a leather glove

She obviously did it but I do agree there wasn't enough evidence to get her with 1st degree. I think she should have been hit with manslaughter at the very least because it's clear that she did get up to some... nonsense but if they couldn't prove it beyond a doubt, technically, justice was served.

she got charged for lying to authorities, which is some jail time, but she was already in jail for a few years so did it count as time served?

The only explanation that might explain it is that her grandfather murdered her (apparently the father was abusive to the mother growing up) and he made her keep quiet somehow or she went insane with grief and went into denial, of course then there's the google searches, although she could have been framed idk. It was obviously her though they found duck tape on the skull. Apparently the reason they didn't win the case is the prosecutor shot too high with first degree murder which apparently is really difficult to prove, how she didn't get child abuse or aggravated man slaughter is a mystery to me though.

yup, that's the thing. She should have gotten at least some charge involving this....

This whole deal is just crazy, she was clearly not fit to be a mother regardless of whether she did it or not. Seriously who would go out partying when their daughter is missing AND wait a whole month to report her. And she clearly lied to the court many many times, shouldn't there be a charge for that? If she didn't do it (i personally think she did) then it's good she didn't get convicted of murder but what about the child abuse and neglect?! And if she did do it then she will pay for it one way or another in this lifetime.

The jury didn't become emotionally invested in the case, and that's exactly what juries are supposed to do.

The circumstances around Caylee's death are certainly suspicious, but I honestly don't know who's responsible.

Congratulations, you’ve bought into propaganda model of the media hook, line and sinker. This is a case that you’re allowed to be passionate about. You’re highly encouraged to follow every minute detail of this trial for the past few weeks and probably for weeks to come as every nobody pundit comes out of the woodwork to condemn or praise the jury, the prosecution, the defense, the judge, the rest of the media, literally anything that will fill up airtime between commercials. You are allowed to be outraged by this, but only until the next big scandal comes along. You are not allowed to talk about crooked cops who murder unarmed civilians and get nonexistent sentences. You are not allowed to talk about the people who ruined the world economy and are now wealthier than ever. You are not allowed to talk about the environmental and humanitarian crimes that are committed daily by global corporations (you are however highly encouraged to watch the commercials for these corporations coming up in the next five minutes).

Crimes that are orders of magnitude worse than what Casey Anthony was accused of happen every single day and no one bats an eye.

      Exactly celestial.

Talk about not wanting someone who killed their kid on the street.
I don't want someone who is flying drones around, dropping bombs on towns full of people (inc. kids) to be running the fucking country.

In other words - This is insignificant and not worth worrying about.

Yeah. Why try to fix little problems when there are such bigger problems that haven't been fixed.
I mean, why worry about anything? It's not worth trying to fix things.

She's totally guilty and hardly an explanation can be given that shows how she was not responsible for this.

The thing is that the prosecution couldn't prove 100% that she did it, and they tried shooting for 1st degree murder which could of led to the death penalty. A "not guilty" verdict doesn't mean we (nor the jury) think she's innocent. They don't want to take any chances and kill someone who could be innocent.

did you hear that she gets out of prison on like, the 16th?
She was getting 4 years, but she already was in for 3 years (maybe a little more) so it counts as time served, and even though she wasn't in for a full 4 years, she can get out soon because of "good behavior" and she has to pay a fine of like 4,000 dollars for the lying to the authorities stuff.

I just think the prosecuters shouldn't have aimed so high with 1st degree murder, maybe if they went for a charge that wouldn't put her to death they could have made a good case against her.
