---o--- my DCs say I'm dreamy.
The jury forgot one thing in this case. That a little girl is DEAD! They shouldn't have convicted her just for lying! |

She obviously did it but I do agree there wasn't enough evidence to get her with 1st degree. I think she should have been hit with manslaughter at the very least because it's clear that she did get up to some... nonsense but if they couldn't prove it beyond a doubt, technically, justice was served. |

The only explanation that might explain it is that her grandfather murdered her (apparently the father was abusive to the mother growing up) and he made her keep quiet somehow or she went insane with grief and went into denial, of course then there's the google searches, although she could have been framed idk. It was obviously her though they found duck tape on the skull. Apparently the reason they didn't win the case is the prosecutor shot too high with first degree murder which apparently is really difficult to prove, how she didn't get child abuse or aggravated man slaughter is a mystery to me though. |

"For a long time it gave me nightmares, having to witness an injustice like that. It was a constant reminder of how unfair this world can be, I can still hear them taunting him. 'Silly Rabbit, Trix are for kids!'... How come they just couldn't give him some cereal?"
This whole deal is just crazy, she was clearly not fit to be a mother regardless of whether she did it or not. Seriously who would go out partying when their daughter is missing AND wait a whole month to report her. And she clearly lied to the court many many times, shouldn't there be a charge for that? If she didn't do it (i personally think she did) then it's good she didn't get convicted of murder but what about the child abuse and neglect?! And if she did do it then she will pay for it one way or another in this lifetime. |

She's totally guilty and hardly an explanation can be given that shows how she was not responsible for this. |

The thing is that the prosecution couldn't prove 100% that she did it, and they tried shooting for 1st degree murder which could of led to the death penalty. A "not guilty" verdict doesn't mean we (nor the jury) think she's innocent. They don't want to take any chances and kill someone who could be innocent. |

did you hear that she gets out of prison on like, the 16th? |

I just think the prosecuters shouldn't have aimed so high with 1st degree murder, maybe if they went for a charge that wouldn't put her to death they could have made a good case against her. |
