Thread: Post if you're happy or cheerful

Something's happening. In these last couple of weeks my anxiety has been disappearing almost totally. In fact every time it seems like I'm about to get anxiety it turns out to be because I'm just tense from having it before, but it doesn't develop into anything. I drank two weekends in a row with no fallout (something that wasn't even remotely possible before). I smoked weed with no anxiety. And now, I started getting depressed like I always do now and then, but then I realized something. While I was becoming depressed about my anxiety, everything I used to be depressed about was getting better. And now I can't even be depressed about my anxiety because it's resolving itself and I'm so excited about it. I honestly sat here and tried, and then tried to think of other things I used to be depressed about because that's just the mood I was in. But I couldn't. There was nothing to be depressed about. And now I'm not.

Holy freaking crap, there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

It also has motivated me. After all that talk of benzos in RRCC I was about to take one, for the first time in a long time, last night.
I didn't coz it was late anyway, but was going to take it today until I read this.

Awesome! Good luck staying the course. I know, up until this I thought it was pretty much an endless battle and you just get used to tolerating it, but for once I actually feel like I'm winning the fight. I'm so happy right now.

I have a unique outlook on life and I am always happy and i always enjoy life to the fullest extent. I don't worry about the opinions of others regarding my decisions or lifestyle i simply do what i want because i can and i enjoy it. Why would you not enjoy life, it's so short, but yet it's the longest thing we'll ever experience. Sure i can't say that i'm never upset or depressed, but when that happens i just think about all the reasons I have to be happy and they always greatly outnumber the reason for being upset. Basically what i'm saying is the key to my happiness is keeping my opinion high above anyone else's opinion of my own actions or being.
If anyone needs someone to talk to i love giving advice and helping people out so don't be afraid to ask

Our Chemistry Professor curved the test, so we get 10 points added.

I made an 85 on my exam without doing much studying

just got back from the Randy and Lahey west coast oddity. Lahey gave me acting lessons, fuck yeah .

tonight was busy and productive, and i can still run a category in jeopardy even though my brain feels like mush.

also it stopped snowing! for now.

no complaints here.

After the emotional roller coaster I've been on (seemingly forever ) I am having an awesome day. I can't help but feel great, happy, even a little giggly.
The reason:
Snow, snow and more snow. I had hoped for one more good snow before Spring and it looks like we're getting it.
I went out for a soda and salad and the roads were almost empty. I love that ghost town feel.

Turkey is done, giblet gravy is made, stuffing is ready. House is clean. Beer has been consumed.

Just need to make the green bean casserole, the potatoes, and the brownies. Yum!

And I am VERY jealous of you Erii. I saw the first couple/few episodes and that was it. (They were on Hulu or Netflix or something) I've lost my Netflix because I don't have a real credit card. I don't have cable tv. That show was amazing

I am fairly content right now. I go shopping soon and I'll pick up more e-cig cartridges and start my quitting again tomorrow.
