      DV ads

      I've noticed that many of the ads that appear on this site seem to be influenced by the posts you make and the threads you view. eg. I've gotten ads for Ice Cube posters, the college I'm going to be attending soon, various locales in Vancouver, etc. Would I be correct in assuming that?

      If so, what ads usually appear on your screen when you're browsing DV?

      For some reason I'm constantly bombarded by this ad:

      I get absolutly no pop ups whatsoever, i mostly get what marvo gats AND depending on what topic i am on, i get ads related to that. eg, on R/S, Jesus Ads everywhere

      I thought the ads were powered by google, which gives you ads based on your search history and the tons of other data mining they do on you, but DV ads seem to be completely random.
