      Five Years of Dreamviews

      So I have just received my Veteran Second Class Icon which means that I have been a member of DVs for five years.

      I just want to say that DVs is one of the greatest websites I have ever been to. The community is so unbelievably supportive, and the more I come here, the more I realize the positive power of the internet. Here we are, people from all over the world, able to discuss a topic that very few people in our day to day lives have any knowledge or interest about. It's really something.

      This forum has such great members. More and more the world seems driven by greed and self interest, but for so many people to come to this site and disseminate knowledge for little to no personal gain says something about what we have.

      Anyway, over the last five years I have so many things related to DVs, but I'm just gonna say this.

      It's too bad that Seeker and Burns are gone. They were huge contributors. I hope they still practice lucid dreaming. I'm glad that Nina and Oneironaut are still around though. At one point it looked like everyone was going to leave, and DVs was going to lose its entire character. I'm glad it managed to recover.

      Thanks to everyone who contributes, I have had hundreds of lucid dreams because of this site.

      5 years, thats a long time. I'm on my 1st year, and I plan to stay here for a long time as well.

      Thankfully the community is thriving, and maybe it'll make it for another 10 years!

      It's okay, you don't have to stay here the entire time. I think I've been active maybe 1 of my 5 years. Nice to peak back in during the downtime of life though.

      Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

      I know, I had to be inactive for a few periods of time, but I still practiced dreaming in the meantime.

      Its all good though because I'm here now, and don't need to leave anytime haha
