No, I think some are pretty and stare 8l |

Ignore might be too strong, but when I see posts in either a really stylized font or a colored font, I feel more inclined to skim or skip them. When people try to stand out, it makes me pay less attention. Probably adaptive, now that I think about it. |

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

Yes, but only from experience. |
I tend to go for blue bold posts. So yes, I ignore anything else. |
I do. I also ignore posts with horrible grammar and or no punctuation. |

Well, I haven't looked at enough posts like that to really notice what effect it has on me, but perhaps it does change my perceptions a bit of whoever's posting it. Like they have less substance in their posts. Or maybe it makes them more interesting. I don't know. |

DILDs: A Lot
Grammar and punctuation problems certainly make me want to quickly give up on a post. I can't say that I've noticed much with respect to unusual fonts and colors. |
Paragraphs and punctuation are our friends. When the words run on and on with no proper spacing etc, I just give up. I try to read it, but I just can't. I also have a hard time with smaller fonts (like Deery's) and certain colors. But those aren't major problems for me. I can highlight the words and zoom in on the screen. |
Bad grammar, spelling and punctuation simply REPULSE me. I won't even bother to look at the post anymore. |
I don't like anything other than regular fonts; maybe the occasional comic sans is fine but that's it. I tend to skip over text with small or different typefaces, or colors (red/yellow words are cold-blooded killers to my eyeballs). |

Strangely, I tend to. I've never consciously noticed this before. I wonder why it is. I think it's kind of like, their posts don't seem like actual posts, more like signatures or something, which I don't read. I think, for me at least, that's more likely the reason than that they're trying to stand out. |
Hmm.... I wanted to say no, but the urge to skip the first part of Deery's post was surprisingly overwhelming lol. Maybe if it was a little bigger I wouldn't, but that was definitely harder to read. Colors don't bother me or anything, unless they're really offensive to the layout. I can generally get by with poor grammar or punctuation too unless it's just egregious. |
I ignore all posts containing the word egregious. |
Yet you feel the need to respond to it. I used to frequent TV Tropes years ago, I can't stop myself from using that word from time to time. |
I only read posts in comic sans. |

Lost count of how many lucid dreams I've had

On reflection I'd say I treat such posts in pretty much the same as I would treat a novel that was written in brightly coloured text. |

I tend to ignore posts that are in a weird font, I don't mind colors though. |
I don't discriminate against font color much unless its illegible but I do usually ignore posters that increase the size of their font. Though this particular forum doesn't have many of those types, I've noticed elsewhere that the dumbest shit comes from posters with large font. |
