Lol, kinda yah.. But im really stoked on this cosplay, im making the costume at work (i work at a small company that does custom dance and figure skating costumes) I get to pick out my own fabrics and my boss is going to help me make it fit like a glove xD

I want to cosplay one day but all the preparations like the costume, make-up and wig puts me off. I want to dress up as Ash Ketchum (since I conveniently have his hat) for next year's Halloween, if I'm successful, I'll post pics.

Also, i just re-read your post, Artelis... No, i did not, in fact.. make any of these cosplay costumes so far. The Betty Boop one was a bag costume thing. The Inu Yasha ones, my friend from college made. Panty's dress was an old dress i had, i just hemmed it. I did make the cat ears from scratch tho. And I bought this one too, this is Snow White from this Halloween.. I am not sure if i posted this in the pics of yourself thread or not, but:

Okay, i've finally begun working on my costume for Lilith Aensland. I've only done the pattern so far, but it was a really fun and amusing process.. Spoiler for all this: First i got a friend to come wrap me in plastic wrap and ductape so i could get an accurate block pattern for my shape Front Back ..And a view of the inside- fail attempt at getting cool, creative camera angles Then i cut that body mold apart and traced them onto some cotton muslin.. Made sure to find the center front to get it exactly the same on either side Cut Repeat for the back Step two completed! Overview of step one and two ..And then i traced step two again so i could cut my lines out like the leg holes and plunging back But then i sewed step 3 together and tried it on, drew more lines and cut them out.. then i brought it to my work so i can get it cut out in stretchy fabric(the kind that it was designed to be in, not the woven muslin i used at home) Haven't gotten it cut out at work yet, and that's where i'm at.. I'm going shopping this week for the correct blue coloured leggings, if i can find any.. If i cant, i will make them at work too Taadaaaaa.. you deserve a gold star if you actually looked at and read all that

Lilith Aensland so far, I still need to stamp bats on my leggings, and finish the bodice-thing And my friend cut my wig too short, but at least its the right colour, i guess.. A close up of Lilith's head wings And tonight i planned out the big wings... i still dont know how i am going to attach them to my back.. I will probably come back and post all the progress pics, and im also working on Ty Lee from the last air bender series.. and the convention im wearing these to is in 9 days

Finally got some pictures from the convention i went to last weekend! Not sure if this link will work, but: Facebook For now, i cannot find any pictures of my friend and i as Panty and Stocking, but i intend to. The group and i as The Last Airbender lol Our personalities matched the characters we were, i enjoyed it the other two, good times. Lol, indeed it is. Good observation! If I could generalize the title a bit, maybe others would be more inclined to post pictures of their creative hobbies. And, O_o really? ..I used to think so when I was in my early teens. I don't think it would suit me anymore :T

It was one of the last things I did due to it being incredibly hard to even come up with an idea for supplies that I could make it from. And a bunch of other reasons. The convention starts today. Heading there after work and I'll be wearing this one, so, pics to come! And, Athylus, I think you look quite dashing Can't wait until Sunday, it's steampunk day, be in a fashion show and I personally made my costume from scratch :3
