April Fools Pranks

So did you pull any? (I'm surprised there wasn't a thread about this, already.) I only pulled one, but it was good. My baby's momma is the type of person that is...shall we say..."easily agitated?" We have an agreement that she takes our daughter every Easter, because my family all lives so close, and they can see our daughter any time, and her family only comes down once or twice a year - one of those times being Easter. So, I text her from work saying my grandmother is going out of town for a few months, and wants to see Cierra before she goes, so I'm going to take her for Easter this year. She texts back like "nope. Sorry. already have plans and already bought her something nice to wear." And then I say "Good, so she'll have something nice on, when I take her to see my grandma. You have her every year. It's time I take her for an Easter." Of course, this didn't sit well with her, and she texts me back stuff like "You'r such a fucking dick! You know my family comes down once a year! My grandmother is 93 years old. If she doesn't get to see Cierra this year for Easter, and she dies soon I'M GOING TO HATE YOU FOREVER!!" And I'm like "Well mine is pretty old, too. You can't just have everything your way, all the time..." So she tries calling me, and I just let it ring, because she knows that I can't take calls at work. She calls a few more times, and I don't pick up. Then I text her and say "you know I can't pick up. I'm at work." So she texts me back and cusses me out some more, in all caps. Shortly after, we get a break, and while I'm walking down to the bodega, when I know she's good and pissed off, I call her. She answers the phone like "HELLO?!" and in a real calm voice, I say "April Fools, (name)..." She was speechless for a moment, trying to find the words. Then she blurted out "OH, YOU'RE SO FUCKING STUPID!" and hung up the phone. Lmfao. That one had me grinning all day long. Haha. She called me back at like 7pm with small-talk, and suddenly said "You know, you completely ruined my morning, with that bullshit, earlier. I was SO MAD!!!" Haha. good times.

Niiiiiiiiiiiice. And no, I didn't have the pleasure of pulling off anything good. I was actually going to put an eviction notice on our door but I was out all the while and never typed it up. I only thought of doing it on the day of. >_>

My mum is obsessed with her car right? So after we go into the local Walmart I sneak out and put a note I had written earlier in fake handwriting under her windshield whippers. The note said "Sorry about the dent! Call me so we can swap insurance info!" And I left a fake name and number. She freaked out when she saw it and looked all around the car for the "dent."

There's a way both of yours could have been better. O - Get a co-worker to call and say that you've been hit by a bus. Just after she was talking about her grandmother might die soon. TTV - Leave a not saying that, but don't put any name or number. So it's like "Sorry I dented your car, call me and we can exchange details" But no number lol That would just frustrate the shit out of her. I also forgot.

I have a specific rule against pulling any pranks that have to do with somebody getting maimed or any other huge misfortune cast upon them (myself included). I've just seen way too many "coincidences" come on the heels of people playing jokes like that. Not exactly something I want to mess with. Haha.
