Weird Possible Shared Dream

I had a DILD 2 nights ago, in which I was with a group of dreamers and we were playing some kind of game. It started as survivor, except that it was in a palace in Egypt, we were divided into a bunch of tribes and we competed against each other. We were told it was a shared dream which we couldn't manipulate like other lucid dreams.

It was a long LD, about 3 days long (in dream of course). Suddenly it turns into a massacre. One of the dreamers was an assassin and this DC/dreamer started killing everyone one by one. We had find out who it was in order to wake up, and also (apparently) if we died in the dream we would also die IRL. We were all scared and at the same time obsessed with solving who the assassin was. After 3 days, the dreamers that were still alive, including me, planned a trap and got the assassin, and after this I woke up.

I was confused after I woke up, wondering if it was just a really weird dream which made me believe I couldn't control it, or if it was an actual shared dream. I don't think the part of "you die in the dream, you die in real life" was true, but it definitely kept my adrenaline up during the whole dream.

Unless you can confirm someone else shared the experience, you can't say, with any credence, it was shared.

But I wouldn't let that take away from the fun of the dream. XD

Interesting... maybe you watched too much Inception?

But no really, that is a fascinating dream!

I know, that's why I said 'possible' shared dream

, the people in it felt too real to be just DC's, but who knows, maybe it was my subconscious messing with me. It was a fun and interesting dream though, quite challenging.

Inception is amazing, however it is not completely accurate when it comes to lucid dreams.

I think it may have been shared. In fact, one Lucid dream I went down the stairs in my house and there was this girl there who seemed very real. Some how I knew she was not a dream person, or a dreamer. I think she was a spirit and I took her into the kitchen and asked her some questions. I told her that I was not in spirit mode but in dream mode. When she heard this she seemed wary and worried. I asked her what would happen if anyone found out and she said "they will try to make your life end shorter than it should." To which I said "I see" meanwhile thinking that she just confirmed my worst fears. Now, could she have been talking about assassins like the one in your dream?
