Half lucid, Half awake in my bed... Has this happened to anyone?

Last Night I had a DILD where I woke up in my room and realized I was dreaming. However, when I started to llok around I felt like my eyes were really dry and heavy. Also, It was like I was looking at two places simultaneously. I could see a a blurry dream setting interposed with the view I have of my room from my bed. It honestly felt like I was having a lucid dream while still half awake in my bed. Does anyone have an explanation for this? Can dreams be experienced at the same time as waking life?

How did you know that the other view is for your real room , you might be dreaming .

I had the FEELING of experiencing this but it turned out that what i thought was "real" was just a dream acting as reality

Ah, happened to me a few times, I mostly induce it though, generally when mom is yelling for me to wake up and I'm having an awesome lucid, will wake half of my body and then tell her not to wake me up, first time she thought I was having a nightmare and started moving me, she got accustomed to it after that thankfully <.<

Also, yes, dreams and reality can be seen both at the same time, but don't know how rare it might be, or if its normal, might be a sleep disorder?

I've had time where I'll go in and out of my real body and dream body. I'll be laying in bed and then all the sudden I'm laying in my bed in my dream. And this will go back and forth untill I eventually wake up for good.
Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.

Something similar to me just happened in an afternoon nap:

As I was falling asleep I heard my roommate come in and thought of something I had to tell him after waking up. Now, in the dream I wake up in my bed. I just woke up from my nap and I need to tell my roommate that thing. So walk to my bedroom door and open it and I'm immediately pulled back to my bed by arms (I can't scream as I am pulled back). This has happened many times to me before in nightmares, but the strange thing is that I then realize I am dreaming. When I am pulled back I go back to sleep than wake up in the same way, aware that I am dreaming. Same thing happens a bunch of times. Sometimes I get to the light switch only for it not to work. Sometimes I get all the way to my roommates room but since I can't speak, I can't wake him up. At this point this lucid nightmare is freaking me out. Since I am a bit in control (although obviously not 100%) I decide to change it up after some 5 attempts at waking up my roommate. Instead of going to his room, I head to the bathroom and fill up the bathtub. Then I yell out my roommates name (and my voice works!) and when he comes I ask him to help me wake up. I put my head in the water and he holds it down and then I wake up! Unfortunately I don't remember what I wanted to tell him. This lucid nightmare really freaked me out. Anyone had anything similar?

By the way I am not completely new to lucid dreams, but usually I am in control. I've never felt this helpless before in one!

That happened to me once. I was half-dreaming, half-awake. My mom woke me half-up because I had to get up for school, and I was still seeing dream scenery in front of the walls of my room.

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Yes, I have engaged in the transition from lucid dreaming to the waking state. I have also been lucid between dreams. Awareness is awareness, it is not what we are aware of. One thing that one should study within is their subjective identification with all perceptual phenomena and how it hinders correct understanding.

Yeah this happened to me this morning. I hate when it happens because it always wakes me up and it ruins an ld.

I had this during a lucid dream twice. The first time, I heard a full conversation my neighbor was having with my roommate. I opened my eyes without realizing I was dreaming, and the neighbor suddenly walked through the door and started eating yogurt on my floor with me and my roommate. I realized then this was a dream, but when I woke up and recounted the conversation to my roommate, I was aware that it was completely real, and I was able to tell her everything I heard while still being fast asleep. During that same nap (I kept floating in and out of lucidity) I heard my friend walking past my window talking about periods. It was very amusing as I was aware that I was fully asleep and thought it was a strange thing for my mind to pick up on.
