In time? Around five days. In attempts? Around four. The dream ended fairly quickly though, and I could not move

Maybe about a year and a half, when I tried a breathing technique that works for me.
After at least 6 hours of sleep, I stay awake for a few minutes, then lay on my back, casually focusing on my breathing. I relax further on each exhale, and pause for a couple seconds before breathing in.

It doesn't work all the time, but I have had good results. Even if I stop trying after laying there for while with no success, there's a good chance that I will become lucid within a dream.
      It's all in your head.

Went to bed like always. Got it on second attempt.

      What happened:
I was lying completely still in my bed for about 10 minutes, without blinking (eyes closed), ignoring my itches, taking calm breaths - not moving at all.
Then I began forming odd visualisations, that I would never have thought of in awake state.
First I saw a tentacle crashing through the floor in a corridor (on a spaceship(?)), rapidly lounging at and breaking something I do not remember. Then I saw a quick flash of Elma from F.E.A.R.2 which was probably where the tentacle came from too, just didn't think about the game at all at that time.
Then my image switched. Walls and floor had no texture or shadows, they were just lightblue colors with no marks. It all reminded of the graphics of an old arcade-3D game. I was lying on a white bed of the same kind and facing downwards, in the same position as I were in real life. I had to concentrate hard on moving my head in the 'dream' without moving my head in real life as well. I saw that I was in the cockpit of a spaceship, with two small alien-ish robots drifting around and calmly saying 'Aaahhhh' with pitched voices. I stood up and walked to the middle of the room, on some platform. Where there was supposed to be windows or anything to see through, there was only black.
Then it - the front part of the cockpit - opened and I got launched into space. I realised I didn't have a spacesuit on, but then it evolved in a Transformers style around me.

I don't remember what I then saw, wether it was a meteor, planet, star, or a space battle, but then I had a hard time focusing. I tried hard to focus, but my view zoomed away from myself in third person, and eventually, everything blurred out and got black.
After a few moments of nothing happening, I decided to open my eyes and move, to get in a better position, even though it was really hard to make myself do it.

Got it on my first try.

I read lots and lots of WILD tutorial here in DV, picked one that suited me and my schedule and followed it to a tee.

I've tried probably about 15 times, and may have actually gotten it on my last attempt (last night). It was like I "woke up in a dream" and then quickly became lucid. I thought it was a false awakening, and I'm still not sure... One thing I do know, it was confusing as hell lol. I didn't think I was even asleep yet and all the sudden I'm in a dream.
