I think possibly I have. I've asked questions to the sky and other dream figures and gotten interesting responses.
      It's all in your head.

I've been occasionally trying to directly speak with it through a projection that I'm trying to summon, as a human figure.

It's weird, last week I tried to connect with it by just speaking out and asking for it to show up, now it ended up as a guy. I questioned it, I was like; "Are you serious?" And it responded; "Well yes." It wasn't too long until I lost lucidity though.

Now the other attempts these past few weeks failed, sadly.
Tell me what time it is, say that it's a dream, and embrace me.

I probably did it last night when I thought I was speaking to my dead friend while completely lucid.
I am a man. I have nothing to show off. I am just a person withnothingexcept for what I would like to show off, which is nothing.

One time I asked in a dream "change me in to what I would most like to be." I was suddenly trapped in a great swirling fire. An incredible voice rang out "Who shall make that decision, your or I?" Desperately, I gasped "You! You!" Immediately the fire stopped, and I was left standing in a burned forest. I felt nothing. "Well, aren't you going to change me?" The voice rang out "You are perfect the way you are. I am far wiser than you, and I know that no matter what you may think, each person is perfect as they are, so long as they try to be themself, and not something else."
I still wonder that was my subconscious or God (Made in His image?), but either way it made me feel amazing about myself.

I've summoned a recurring DC before, who was extremely friendly and radiated happiness. When I asked him his name upon meeting him for the second time, he said his name was Alex. My understanding is that he was my representation of my subconscious, but I haven't had much of a chance to talk to him.

I have asked DC's questions before, such as "why I don't become lucid more often", "If you always know when I am dreaming why don't you tell me more?", "what do you mean to me?" etc. They normally avoid giving me a direct answer though.

That was very interesting. I think I may have the same experience too. On another lucid encounter, where I found myself in an empty room with a chalkboard on the wall. There were markings that I couldn't recognize and I didn't try to decipher it. Then I just stood there, and came up with something. I waved my hand in the air to erase all the markings (which was pretty cool), then spoke out, asked my subconscious, "What do you think of me? Can you try to describe me?", eagerly anticipating something to pop out on the board.

Now a musical note (looks like the S Clef) was conjured on the middle of the chalkboard.

Then I thought, I didn't think I was entirely musically inclined. I love music, but I barely could play an instrument.

Then something else spawned from the floor, on the middle of the room, and grew to what seems to be a conglomeration of different puzzle games. It looks like a sculpture, and it looks inexplicably beautiful. I didn't get what it was trying to imply however. But ever since I began trying to directly connect with my subconscious, the responses were sort of in a mind game being projected into something. Seems like it never really answered me?

On three separate occasions I have asked a DC a direct question knowing I was essentially talking to my subconscious. All three times it was the same question, "What do you think of me" with the implication of how I actually viewed myself. Only one of the three times do I remember the answer and oddly the one I remember was the only time I asked someone I didn't recognize. I wasn't actually prepared for the answer I got at the time, but I am really interested in seeing if its now changed. I do want to do more questioning of my DC's in future dreams.

I attempt to do this all the time, and sometimes i get responses, and other times, nothing at all.
For example, recently i became lucid in a dream, and flew out the window and into the sky and shouted "I want to speak to my inner self!" I waited and nothing happened. The rest of the dream i spent flying around city buildings shouting my desire to speak to my other self, my subconscious, my higher self, and yet nothing provoked a reaction.
On the other hand when i ask for something, it almost always causes a change. Once i awoke on top of a concrete skyscraper, and saw a plane. i became lucid, and was about to jump off the building when i felt a rush of vertigo. i normally have no problem flying, but i rarely fly higher than treetops and telephone wires, and the ground was so far away i could barely make it out. I went back to my bed, and shouted to my dream "I want to speak to you, but first i would like a change of environment". Immediately the building began to fold in on itself and it surrounded me and enveloped me, and i was surrounded by warm soft and comfortable padding. i then asked to communicate with my other self, and continued to try to for the rest of my dream, without any reaction...
In my own experience, i have failed to communicate with my subconscious unless i ask for something very specific and direct. i have even tried to tell me subconscious to show me something important, but there was no response.
