    I used to have third person dreams, until I started Lucid Dreaming, and now they're almost always 1st person, and never 3rd person while lucid.

    Yeah. :D I would guess that if you feel tense and "helpless" around girls in any way then it will probably be very noticeable and have a negative effect on the impression you make, even if you try...
