I had a long lucid last night and I played around with dream stabilization a little. It didn't make a difference what I did as long as I was paying attention to the dream.

That's interesting you didn't have any success with MILD. Where you hitting all the targets during the day? I just started using it 3 days ago and I've had 3 LDs.

That would be my first idea. Try to get an email or something. I plan on experimenting with this once I get better. Without outside verifiable proof in my it's all projection. At least for me.

As someone who went through what you're going through. I'd say that this is something that would be best solved in real life. Just my opinion but since your dream takes place in your mind. It's going...

Your expectations become reality in the dreamworld. I think on some level you expected them to fail. I would evaluate your mindset when performing waking reality checks. I've never had a RC fail....

It's not even scary. :) Most of the time you completely miss SP. Usually for me it feels like I'm spinning in the bed and then I fall through. Feels kinda like a rollercoaster.

It's all very interesting. I'm going into it with a neutral mindset but open to whatever happens.

I was in the Roman army and we were dividing into groups of 10. I found a group and we had no swords. I thought wow this is odd and looked down at my hands. They were missing fingers and bent in all...

It's pretty easy to wake yourself up. When I was 5 and had nightmares I used to become lucid and move my eye back and forth rapidly to wake myself up. The rem rebound may have played a role....

I agree with jzinser. We all wake up at the end of each cycle even just to readjust our body position before going back to sleep. We also all dream. The fact that you don't recall either is likely...

Doesn't Steven Laberge have a 100% success rate? Once you engrain the habit of regularly questioning your surroundings you should be able to lucid as much as you want I would think.

I dream that I'm chasing after my brother through the streets by my Grandfathers house.
It's summer, and I see my football coach from high school (5years ago) having a yardsale. We pass by this huge popcorn festival and he wants to go inside. But they tell him he's too young. So I'm walking past and this bodyguard grabs me and says you have to pay $1 to pass.
Non-lucid me decided to be sassy so I pulled 25cents out of my pocket and tossed it on the ground. He starts chasing me and I start running down these blue marble staircases. I realize I'm dreaming.
I decided to not change the dream environment and keep going down these really nice staircases. The dream fades and I see the same blue fading in and out of my vision.
I think I'm dreaming. So I try to get up out of my bed. But I cannot move and am only aware of my head. I start to wonder why I cannot move. But I see my hands are invisible and moving in front of people. So I think I must be a ghost. Once I get free I look at my hands. They're normal, so I was awake the whole last part.
