      Don't worry about the sounds and stuff... personally, I think they're actually really interesting. It's a transitional phase in consciousness that's a very weird/wacky experience.

      However, what will probably scare you the most is the paralysis part. You will be totally paralyzed and at first it is NOT comfortable. Just ride it out.
