Are these HI?And some more questions.

When i'm trying to wild , i rarely get HI, but when i do (had HI about 5 times only) , they are some shape or object placed in a blurred orange circle
      1) Not sure if this is HI so my question is - are these HI? (images below)

      2) Also , if you are in SP should you be hearing background noise which is happening in real life , like people talking , dog barking etc?I mean when you enter SP , does your hearing switch to hearing where you can only hear HH?

      3) What are good ways to keep you awake but not too much when you do a WBTB , because after 6 hours of sleep i'm still extremely sleepy.Would splashing cold water on your face make you too alert to WILD?(Sorry if this sound stupid )

      Thanks!

If you're seeing images, blurry shapes or colors behind your eyelids, then it's definitely HI!
To answer your next questions, it's best to try quieting down any background noise with earplugs, or listening to white noise to drown the sounds out. Too loud of a sound, sudden or not, can cause you to exit the SP; in other words, you can definitely still hear outside noises. If you're getting very close to entering a dream, outside noises might quiet down and you could hear buzzing or other strange sounds, and you might even hear your heartbeat. When you're entering a dream, waking life sounds should subside entirely.

As for WBTBs, you can always go to the washroom, get a glass of water, and read for a while... Maybe even go on Dreamviews to type up any dreams you've had, or write in your physical dream journal if you have one. Cold water will probably end up waking you up too much (although it's hard to say if you've never tried it before).

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Looks like early HI. The longer you let them go, the more nuts they will get
