Should I start off trying to find my best time to WILD/stay up for WBTB first? Yes, that would be a good idea. Anywhere between 5-7 hours is where I would start off. |

...and I don't know where to start first. |

Practice, practice, practice. And don't be discouraged when you aren't successful. It took me approximately 3 months to learn how to WILD somewhat consistently. It takes time. |

If you are just starting out, don't worry about the specifics. Don't get intimidated. You don't need to memorize every detail of a certain method. They all have the same end goal. Time your WBTB so you are returning to sleep as a REM cycle is approaching. Then, just try to fall back to sleep while keeping a small part of your consciousness aware. The first few times you do it, you should just be watching how you fall asleep, and experimenting a bit. You do this every night, anyways. The only difference this time is that you are paying attention so you can step in and influence things at the appropriate time. Have fun with it. |
