Last night I became aware of my thoughts as I delved deeper into sleep paralysis. It's been such a long time since I felt sleep paralysis coming on as my first experiences were so apparent. They were as I stated in a previous post, "electric". |

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Feeling all electric? SP can take many forms and feeling a big buzz throughout your entire body is a pretty common one. Just keep on relaxing and perhaps visualizing and you should be able to enter a dream shortly after that. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Perhaps "[feeling] electric" was a bad term to explain the sensation. I guess what I meant was that it felt like electricity was being pumped through my veins (not that I know how that feels). When I first started WILDing, the above would happen: My body would twitch rapidly all over -- it was like I was being pricked by needles, (especially on my feet). I no longer get that "big buzz" you mentioned. I only get a dulled sensation of my body going deeper into sleep paralysis, (limbs getting heavier). There is no longer a sensation of twitching or that feeling of getting poked by needles -- it's as if I'm no longer focusing inwards. |
