What happens when you enter sleep paralysis? |

SP for me, my body feels like its starting to float and almost feels like I'm on a roller coaster! HH, I'm not to sure what it means... But as for sounds, I hear people talking right in my ear. It varies though |
|
This is gonna sound weird but I have this intense fear of being tickled because I am beyond ticklish. Well, every time I enter SP I usually end up being rolled and tickled but these really thing fingers. Don't ask why because I don't really know. It's weird though. |

Me, "Why are you crying?"
DC, "People won't be my friend because I'm ugly."
Me, "Well I will be your friend... I guess."
DC, "Ewww no! Your ugly too."
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder CWH. You deserve much more beautiful dreams than this. |

I have only experienced HH a few times. Most were a simple hum and vibration. But the worst time was this horrible VERY LOUD metallic noice accompanied by glowing green lights which morphed into a face that came right at me. Even though I knew exactly what was happening it scared me to the point I forced myself back to reality...and woke myself up. |

To Doarealitycheck, some people find it scary cuz they don't know what it is, and they find that they cant move at all so they start hallucinating seeing scary things/demons etc. and they find it harder to breathe. For those of us who learned about it before experiencing it, we already know what to expect and why we shouldn't be afraid. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I usually hear the sound of water being poured or sometimes i hear someone snoring (not myself) and as for HH during the vibrations and what not my vision becomes all white. |

funny thing about SP is I don't really get the paralysis. I can pretty easily move my body and wake back up until the point that I actually enter a dream, and during LDs I can sometimes do it while I'm dreaming, which I hate because its usually by accident...I usually don't notice any visual HH but when I do it tends to be either blurry images of places and people changing quickly or psychedelic looking designs. I usually hear muffled voices or feel light touches on my skin, I just have to remind myself it isn't real so I don't move to investigate. Every once in a while I'll get that wavy feeling like I'm riding in a car or boat. |

Because something important to me personally is to develop the ability to create my own self confidence no matter the situations or conditions, and I think our dreaming minds do this as well, and help, and that They put us to the test. Life away from this forum and death and everything else are part of the all of everything. To me, there is something of a greater order to seek for than Lucid Dreaming. Maybe it could be called "Lucid Awakening?" |

For me, I can't feel SP at all. I have to try to move to test if I'm in it or not. I have pretty normal HH, people, places, objects, etc. I usually hear the constant, one-note strum of an electric guitar. (I play a lot of guitar). And I agree with DoARealityCheck, SP isn't scary at all for me, because I know what it is. |

I've actually never really felt sleep paralysis, except for once when I was attempting to WILD during a non-lucid dream. I actually don't usually feel anything, nor see any hallucinations when I am doing it successfully. The only time I feel vibrations is when I enter the dream and will myself to feel them intensely, then I know I'm dreaming because irl I can't do it as well. |
