But if you don't RC, you will never know, if you are already in a lucid dream. This happened to me a lot. I didn't understand, how could I be in a LD. Untill one day I told myself to hell with it, I'll just try. I stood up next to my sofa and RCd. And what do you know, I was in a LD.
Most of the time this happens, when I'm WILding and suddenly I see my room. It doesn't really scream "you are dreaming". But if you tell yourself as you are WILDing, that when you see your room you will just get up and RC, you will remember it when time comes.
You can use a 'motionless' RC, like "if this was a dream, I would levitate". If you start to lift off, you know you are dreaming. Hope this makes sense.
