I'm fairly new to lucid dreaming and I've tried a few methods that are pretty similar to the MILD method of getting your body used to reality checking in the day so you do it in your dreams but this has so far been unsuccessful. |

WELL like every other time someone asks for advice on WILD I will recommend reading WILD (Sageous). |
yea your doing this wrong. Forget everything you know about WILD. look up Mzzck's guide |
mzzck's guide is also very good and can be found here: http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...ild-guide.html |
Okay cheers guys ill be sure to look at these two methods |
I take it you can scratch or shift, just as long as you remind yourself to return to what you were doing and ignore what just happened? There are times where I forget about swallowing my saliva, but even the slightest thought gives me the urge to swallow, so I do that and proceed with what I was already doing, going back to being completely oblivious about swallowing my saliva. At times I feel like I'm just consciousness itself without a physical body. |
That's the kind of state I'm after I suppose but the closest I got to that was a bit of numbness in my limbs |
Still the wrong mindset. WILD is not about what your body is doing, it's about what your mind is doing while you're falling asleep. So when you talk about what to do if you get itchy, that's silly. Do whatever you normally do to fall asleep. |

I would say check out both those guides. They both have a lot of great tips. |
