I just read about twitching.. I can't say I can be very useful for you. But I just read that some involuntary muscle movement has to do with serotonin overstimulation. I know some people who have used a lot of drugs in their life and they experience random leg twiches at night. I am thinking that this might be an indicator that the body bioadjusted to produce more serotonin than is necessary. Since your case looks similar to me I reckon that you have quite a highly stimulated body chemistry. Correct me if i'm wrong. Quite a long term accumelation. This doesn't just happen overnight. Is is probably quite likely that genetic factors are at play here as well. But they don't have to.

I woulden't know how to fix this persay. You hear about calcium+magnesium supplementation. But supplements don't perform miracles afaik. One way to relief too much energy is to find an outlet. Some type of yoga where breathing and especially strong reliefing breathes out of the body might prove very useful. But I'm no expert I just happened to be looking for a way out of this problem myself. I experience some minor leg twitches sometimes but honestly they do not interrupt with my sleep at all. With you it might be a little bit more severe but I reckon you can work past it. Falling out of bed sounds pretty damn intense, lol.

Sleep paralysis is surrounded by a lot of myths. But you might want to try and induce it urself. I don't know; Just throwing it out here. Melatonin is also an effective muscle relaxant. That or cannabis.
Another random popup that came to me is to exercise more during the day and let out excess energy. But exercise seems to me to be the answer I give to anything, haha. It can't possibly always be the answer.
There was more I wanted to say but I kind of forgot. Be sure to let us know if you find a solution!

Ps; I just remember an old "Theory" I had formulated in the past. I thought that muscle twitching is the result of stalled "neuro-growth" from some unknown cause. I thought of this because the same chemicals that move the muscles are responsible for neurogrowh (the brain is a muscle). But this is such an outrageous claim that I can't expect anyone to take it serously. Nevertheless, you may want to look into BNDF and/or LTP. I don't know about the specifics. But you could try Noopept which is a new and very popular brain enhancer. It is also relatively cheap. Here is a vendor. With active dosages in the 10mg range a gram for 10 euro could potentially last for a very long time. I have even heared the name noopept in the context of Dream supplements!

Anyway, just some ideas. Try not to let the twitching bother you so much!

After I wrote this post I tried again. My legs were shaking like I had epileptic seizure. I think I am going to pause WILDing and go to MILD. I am afraid I might induce some seizure :/

That is not cool. This actually sounds pretty serious. Do you have a doctor who is talking with you about Sleep walking? If so, I'm sure you thought about telling him this already. I would even consider seeking out full-body medical scans.

WILD is a difficult thing to master in the first place. Everybody has hickups and I suspect that in most cases it is actually a very physical one. In your case it is just more pronounced. This could potentially serve as advantageous for you because now you atleast have some concrete methaphorical wall that you can work to overcome. I mean, there must be a solution.

I agree, WILDing might not be the best thing to focus on for you. But if you still want to try new techniques you could take a look into DEILDing. Which is quite similar to WILDs but different and somewhat superior.

The upside of doing a DEILD is that I reckon the body is already closer to a state of dreaming compared to a WILD. This could potentially work around your problem because your brain is already in sleeping mode. If you can succesfully induce a DEILD without problems(I guess you have to find out for yourself), this could indicate that your twitching is an indicator of the brain not being relaxed enough to do a WILD. I myself noticed a kind of click or switch that makes the brain fall asleep. I figure that a lot of people like me are still putting too much mental effort in staying awake during a WILD. So try to focus more on actually falling asleep next time you consider going for a WILD. Either way, good luck-wishes for dreaming. And may you have many more lucid dreams in the future.

Tried DEILD, actually CAN-WILD, but it is practically the same. I am too sleepy and I can't resist it and I fall asleep. Today I got my dreaming crystals, now I am going to make crystal grid which might help me. I am also going to research MILD. I will do that while I am making a break from WILD.
