Whoever told you that you're supposed to try to stay awake is an idiot and you should never listen to that person ever again.

To stay awake? Perhaps you meant you're trying to stay aware. You must fall asleep but maintain your awareness.

Remember not to move AT ALL, close your eyes and get comfortable and once you are comfortable don't move a muscle, if possible not even you eyes. the more you move, even if it's just a bit, the more it will take.
It's ok to swallow but aside from that you should really not move at all.

You have to relax but don't try to hard to relax cause then ironically you would be doing the opposte of relaxing!

Be patient, sometimes WILDling can take less than 5 minutes, sometimes it can take nearly an hour. Just chill and remember to stay focused on something so you stay AWARE (there's a difference between aware and awake, remember that), you DO want to fall asleep but this time doing so consciously.

      Body asleep
      Mind awake (being aware)

Be nice cmind, you don't need to call names.

You should however look for some better wild guides. Anything that mentions SP is probably gonna be a wast of time.

Cmind, these kind of posts are neither helpful nor constructive. If you want to help people learn how to lucid dream then you need to do it in a kind and helpful way. Posts repeating "wrong" or calling someone an idiot, whether that be directed at the person asking for advice or someone giving it, won't help anybody learn.

Some of your posts are great and are quite helpful, so just continue doing that and everybody will benefit

When someone posts with an authoritative voice and gives, with certainty, bad advice that I know 100% to be untrue, I get a little peeved.

Posting "Wrong" without providing corrections to bad information or providing a valid argument comes off rather trollish and is unhelpful. It's ok to disagree, but please do so in a respectable fashion.
