Catch a false awakening every time.

I wonder if you put a big poster on your ceiling, saying "DO A REALITY CHECK" So every time you wake up, you look at the ceiling and see it and do a reality check, would instantly catch a false awakening. Good for those who wake up too tired to even sometimes think about doing a reality check, Doesn't have to be on the ceiling, could be on the wall or something, as long as you see it when you wake up.

It's a good idea, I think I've seen this before though. It would have a few problems for me:
      1. My parents would think I'm crazy!
      2. Might not carry over to the dream

But other than that, keep thinking that way!

Ah! Clever indeed! And Arch, you don't have to write DO A REALITY CECK etc. It could work with anything that reminds you of it

Hm.. this would work I'd say, up to a point where you FA with the poster after seeing it so often enough.
But still, good idea. I won't do it though because I rarely have false awakenings myself.

Maybe...... Its a good idea to just do an rc when you get out of bed in the morning. You never know. Sometimes I have dreams where I wake up from a dream in some random place and don't do an rc. Its a good habit just to rc when you get of out of bed..
Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake

I always forget to, that's why I came up with the poster idea.

I like that. If you don't see a poster, reality check. If you see the poster and it says something other than "do a reality check," do a reality check. Even if it's just the same poster, you're reminded to do a reality check! It's practically foolproof.

This might only work if you don't have windows or something that provides sunlight in the morning when you wake up. Obviously if you wake up regularly before the sun comes up and there's no light it wont work.

      I'm definitely trying this out.

Especially since most of my dreams are based off of school and sleeping.

When I was in school, I would be expecting snow the next morning and not have school, almost every time I'd have a false awakening and wake up and look out the window only to see sunny weather, and no snow.
