Possible shared dream between a guy I've never met

Over a year ago I started having these dreams about this really attractive guy I've never seen before, I didn't think anything of it. Until a few weeks after having the first dream I found this guy on YouTube, he was literally everything the guy in my dreams was. His name was the same, he looked the same, he had the same since of humor, the same voice, and he even drives the same car, and listens to the same music. He has the SAME TATTOOS...
The dreams happened maybe once every other week for the first few months, and as time went on, they became more frequent. It isn't the same dream every time, for a while it was. Then I became like a story almost, like we had our own life together, but only when I was sleeping.
The story dosnt continue anymore, but now he is in every single dream that I have. Wether his name is just mentioned, we catch eye contact in a public place,we're in a relationship or meeting for the first time. He is in every one.
But it always leads to us being with each other, even if our relationship is just spoken of.
Lately events that happened in the dreams, or things he told me, have happened in my life, and in his life(I know this from things he has said in his videos). I started to wonder if maybe he was having them too because of this.
He also mentions dreams in his a lot of his videos, and he talks about them casually, so if anyone was watching the video they wouldn't think anything of it. But in my case, I feel like he's trying to give me a hint or something. I don't know, it's just the way he talks about them,
He doesn't say they're about a girl or anything, he makes it relevant to what he's doing in the video but also relevant to the dreams at the same time, in ways that only I can understand. I can't help but think he does have them. He has to, right? It isn't normal.
I'll have a dream and the next day or a week later he'll say something that he said in one of them, or he'll mention something that similar to what happened.

The other night I had a "dream"; I wouldnt really even consider it a dream, because I was completely conscious. My eyes were closed but I could see him, feel him and hear his voice like he was actually In the room with me.
We talked about the dreams, and what we should do, and if we should meet up, and where. But I can't remember what we said. I just remember him being there with me, and being able to hold him and feel his presence.

This man is everything I want, literally everything. I can't help but feel like he's the one but I doubt he even knows I exist. One of at he worst parts of it is, he lives about 5-10 miles away from me. We live in the same city, and there's nothing I can do to make him a part of my life, Besides hope that we're going to run into each other eventually.

I don't know if I should give up, or keep waiting, or what because Its getting to the point where I feel like I need him.
I almost expect him to be in bed with me when I wake up, I open my eyes every morning hoping he's actually going to be there. But he never is.

It may be that it is your imaginary ideal of guy. I try for shared dreams and OBEs for longer time, but I was not very successful.

      To help you:
Try to get more information from this dream guy, if he is real it is possible to find him through internet. e-mail. Facebook. Others... You need contact information, think about that when you meet him in your dreams. Browse for things he said. But try to be skeptical about things you find on internet. The better information you have the more targeted search you can do.

Personally, I would be cautious. As I wrote higher, my experiments are not very successful. Your mind can make many adjustments in your desire to find him.

I actually have sent him an email, it wasn't too long ago, but he hasn't replied.

And I can't be imagining It, because I knew so much about him before I even knew he existed. The other day I had a dream where he got a new tattoo and later the same day he posted a picture of a new tattoo and it was the same thing.

That can't be irony right? Idk it's freaky /:

That looks really interesting, like real connection.

You must also take possibility that he sees you like someone else... It can also be that he is not free... But if you write him about your shared dreams, it can make wrong impression. Hmmm...

srsyly, if you regularly LD of/with this guy and know how to contact him in the real world (YT has a messaging/commenting option) there is simple and (if successful) awesome experiment to conduct: Ask the dreaming version of him to give you a "password" - a token, a piece of information only he may know. Remember that token and awaken yourself. Then confront the person in with waking reality with the information given to you. If you have a hit, it will for sure attract his attention. Good luck!

I had this happen years ago, it was pretty amazing to experience... I had been dreaming of the same person for years, every 6 months or so we would have a lucid dream where we were hanging out somewhere together, swimming, hiking, etc. Over the years we aged, hairstyles changed... then one day I met him IRL and he knew me, but not from where. He kept insisting he knew me, and I would say "I know, but I'm not saying how". He was moving in two weeks across the country, so we only had a few casual dates, but it was pretty deep and intense. The last night I came clean, and he didn't believe me -- until I told him every hairstyle he had had over the past 6 years. I was sad when he left, it seemed a bit of a joke from the universe on us, but I had just moved across country myself and there was no way long-distance would work then -- we decided we were wrapping up some old karma (I actually remember our last life together very clearly, whole other topic that we didn't get into) and wished each other well... I think what you are experiencing is real, my advice is to take it slow with him, as someone else posted he might not remember his dreams or recognize you, or be ready to connect them to his waking life... Good luck!

Just wanted to express my curiosity as to how this ended up unfolding for you? Did you get a password to give him in the real world? Or did he ever end up emailing you back? I, like you, have dreamed of someone for a long time and wonder about trying to find a way to contact him in the real world. Like you, I am 99% sure he exists as I saw him in real life once (and due to my anxiety and being with my kids and exhusband at the time, had a mini panic attack when our eyes met and he started coming our way, then fled like hell because I knew I wasn't in any position at that point in my life to be able to keep in contact with him) but am now at a loss as to how to find him in waking life as he's not any sort of internet presence I have seen. Seeing stories like yours and Ixchel's helps me keep up hope, and I love hearing peoples happy endings when they finally get in touch with their dream friends!
