    1. Flying across the sky😊😎

      by , 09-10-2016 at 12:54 PM
      Wonderful lucid this morning ✨

After wbtb a little later than I wanted I lay back down at about 5.30am ( had been awake around 30 mins setting intentions, using mantras and going through previous dreams of this night in my head)

I make a goal to fly and see some beautiful sights - something simple and uplifting and maybe I will have a nice DC join me

It takes some time to get to sleep and I have to keep my mind from worrying that soon the alarm will go off and I will still be laying here - I stay relaxed and gently focused on the task at hand - thanks goodness🌠

I enter the dream scape lucidly through a dild I think - I am walking ( often the case when I get lucid! Remember ) I realise this is a dream and remember I want to fly. I jump up into the sky and feel the breez against my body - I havnt been flying in ages so I am really appreciating the wonderful feeling once more
      - I call out "hehe I am flying! Show me something wonderful!"
      - The view opens out a lot its wonderful and vast - I see snow topped mountains around and far into the distance the dream scape looks amazing. The hills,Sky, tree tops and twisting rivers and valleys down below me seem to glisten and express joy in being there. I enjoy flying around and am in aw of the clarity of lucidity here - wow!🌄🌌🏔⛲️🗾

I see someone walking down on the ground and decide to follow for a while - then I land and go up to him.
'" Follow me " he says
I follow as he climbs up some rubble on the side of a building and into a small room. We are sitting very close and I see he is written on a piece of paper - he is writing my full name and underlining it. I am surprised and ask him how he know me. He said he saw me when I " Shut the door" ( trying to work out what he meant but not coming up with much...)

I stare at his face for a bit - so close to mine - it is opaque and he looks a little older than he should possibly...I am a bit lost looking into his eyes and trying to work out who/what he is.👤

I wake up and stay still - managing to Deild back in I find myself with him agin still sitting close together. I manage to stay a while longer but my alarm goes off very soon and I am back in the dream of waking reality

I am thankful for a nice adventure ✨😊

    2. Driving,healing,running and enjoying 🎇🎆🌠

      by , 05-08-2016 at 01:14 PM
Watched moovies for a few hours yesterday afternoon up until bed with G and remember regularly that " I am dreaming " and that " I recognise I am waking up and stay still..listen and pay attention - keeping my eyes closed"
After last mornings vision of waves with glistening sunlight ..looking so perfect - I know this was achieved through waking with silent soft purpose and willingness to bend myself through time and space to the next dimension ✨

I go to bed around 10 and listen to a compilation of songs I gathered together today on iTunes about Lucid Dreaming - they are a beautiful mix of alternative, hip hop, rock and lovely female Irish vocals... I haven't been giving time to listen to music for a few years now ... So I did this on the spur of the moment and am surprised I enjoyed it sooo much - I listened before sleep in my dark lucid dream room - alone and ready for my Sunday morning lay in ritual of being who I am - a lucid dreamer

Woke up at 3 am and listened to the music compilation again - allowing my mind to drift ( awake ) with images of myself in my lucid dreams ...flying and other such enjoyable stuff...flying into the brightly lit night without a care in the world✨

This went on for about an hour and a half - so a decent wbtb - " I remain with myself I stay still on waking and watch in silence my next dream form agin and again" are my mantra's

Two Lucid dreams which could have gone into 3 ✨

Suddenly I find myself in the dream world - first I am within the imagining I mention above ...my music stopped some time ago...then the thought enters my head that I could be dreaming for real✨
It's dark so I play with the darkness- I remember to look for something ...a ladder - I see it coming into vision through the darkness ...I start to move my arm and take hold of the step - then the next, then the next. The scene becomes clearer as I pull myself up the ladder very easily now.
I am in a very clear scene flying through the sky and enjoying it! It's twilight - not too dark but not blazing sun either. I call out to the/my awareness behind the dream
" Show me something significant. Something I can learn from - show me however you want"
Next I am running through a jungle like environment - it's day time. I find myself at a train station - a train is waiting on the track. I run on to this train that's waiting at the station - it's the very first carriage where the driver would sit and drives the train - it is clear the driver is me. The doors close behind me and I go up to the control desk at the front- looking confidently ahead I press the red button in the middle and the train begins to move forwards. I notice that there are some people on the carriage sitting behind me, but I concentrate on the track because we seem tobe getting a good speed up - we are going too fast in fact- before we know it the track had split Into 2 at a junction and it seems we were going to fast to stay on the track and another train is in the way of us ...as we swerve to the left ... We come off the track ...I manage to press another red button and we are going forward again back on the track once again ( magic ) This happens again a couple of times but we always end up back on track ...but then this last time it's off the track for good...we stop

I can't believe the LD is lasting so long and there seems to be a plot - I am really enjoying myself

The train stops and some guards rush on - my god this is exiting - they seem tobe coming for me! I go up the 2 ladies and very vivid looking man on the train just to the side of me and l say
" You know this is a dream right?"
". No ...really ! This is a dream?" The guy says to me happily but shocked as well.
" Yes - say this it to your self again and again - This is a dream - This is a dream- Just keep repeating it. It will help you to remember - ok?"
" Yeah ok - I will do that" he says to me

The guards come up to me and begin to take my arm as if he is arresting me - wow - I feel exited to be going through this plot with a DC who wants to arrest me this is not my usual experience up to now in my lucid dreams and I am very exited to be here! So I allow him to take me away
      " Ok " I say " I will come " and I follow him
As I walked by the people I just spoke to I could feel myself coming back to my WL body. I looked him very straight in the face and said
" The dream is fading now... I am waking."
" Ahh " he says " The fun is over " and he smiles at me ...
      " Yes..."
But I stayed still and remember to watch the darkness behind my eyes...and I am back in the dream again✨

I see some ladies swimming in a glistening pool of very refreshing looking water - I walk into the pool and emerge myself in water - it's lovely. I stay a while in the there ✨

I wake and need the loo - another Deild otherwise would have come
I feel very grateful and happy and know I must stay with my present LD work and reminders - I am lucid - I am dreaming

3rd Lucid I wake around 7am to record
M was so unwell - her whole body I'd skinny and contorted ...she try's to bully me into working harder. I am very straight with her
" This is a dream - you have no power over me"
" you always have the perks and I don't like it" she says
" Well yes I enjoy the perks - so what - you don't look well. How are you?"
" I am not well " she says
" Try to heal your self " I say to her and I feel the dream fading
Before it faded fully I am in another scene on a bed with a baby who is very unwell
I am the one taking care of him ...he keeps rolling about and almost falling off the bed ...
I wake but fall asleep quickly once more...

Lucid again but I think Semi at first then becomes more lucid after the healing
I am running through a corridor with a group - there is a row of lights coming towards us - it's unclear where they come from but they shine towards us from the space infront - I know instinctively that I need to align myself with them so that they can enter my body properly...I shout out to those behind me to do the same. The lights come and I made lots of little adjustments to get the flow coming straight in to me. First at my head I hold it for a while ...then by heart - I hold and take in the light - then my base chakra or entrance - I let the light run through me from this point of entrance for a while - it feels good and strong and healing - it feels amazing✨
Then we, as a group, are running outside in the fresh air and I am shouting
" This is a dream -This is a dream" I am laughing as a speak
" Haven't you ever had lucid dreams?" I ask them
" No not really ...maybe a few " one girl answers me and the others offer similar responses.

I am looking after a child again and a baddie keeps coming to try and take/posses the child but I blow an almighty wave of fire breath on him - haha - seems todo the trick and each time he disintegrates away ( next time I will confront him straight on and ask him what exactly is going on with this scene!)
I feel I am receiving some inner guidance as I move through corridors and rooms and up stairs ... We met with the obstacle thing again and I use my fire breath again to shoot him back into oblivion.

      Some lucid moments followed later
      - I am on campus with a group of friends - dancing, drinking, smoking, competitions ...I excel in everything
      - We are in a ritual like situation at one point and I play an instrument - the energy is high.
      - Another lucid moment I am asked to drive a big car backwards down a very steep slope and keep the car in and exact straight and I manage
      - Wow what a cool mornings work

    3. Drifting

      by , 08-06-2015 at 11:15 AM
      After wbtb - relaxed for about 40 mins when vibes started - entry to dream not obvious enough for me tho... Must have drifted in and out of sleep quite a few times over about an hour ;

I wandered around with a friend we were outside my bedroom where we knew someone was in there resting and was possibly crying ...we waited for the right moment to enter to help...we went in he was in bed on iPad ,we tried to comfort him. There were more beds in the room all has lovely thick cotton sheets but all were a bit dusty...back in my physical in bed

At another time during a phase of coming back to my body again and agin and allowing myself to experience the vibration enough so that I didn't simply come back to WL body in bed luciditiy came! - I became lucid on a train i marvelled at the lovely colours around me, my family were sitting around me chatting - it felt like we had been there awhile - I tried to get up a few times then finally I could and made it to the door to leave the train. I opened it and felt the strong breez and marvelled at the sheep and grassy fields we passed by . I leaned my body fully out side the train door and said "I know this is a dream I want to experience/purify all my karma now . Now! Soon I came back in and swayed back to my physical body

Another time I was in bed with my love - smooching it was so gentle and tender - he took a photo of us and held it up for me to see - there were 2 of me ... One either side of him...

I felt so close to both worlds ...

    4. What happened? Post Your WILD Attempts, Good or Bad, Here

      by , 07-10-2015 at 07:28 PM
^^ That's great news, Patience, thanks for sharing! Given your focus and enthusiasm, I'm not surprised at all, either; sometimes that sort of perseverance is all you need!

From what you wrote, I'm not totally sure if your first entry into the LD was WILD: because you seemed to have just found yourself there, it could have been a DILD. The noise experienced during a WILD can certainly be minimal (I often get none at all), but that feeling of going "seamlessly from bed to dream" might indicate that you drifted off somewhere along the way and -- thanks to all that prep work and enthusiasm -- became lucid through DILD (but in the end who cares, right? Lucid is lucid!). However:

That you indicate that there was no feeling of a dream going on as you "awoke," though, might also indicate that a WILD transition did occur... so maybe it's okay to check this off as a WILD. But the sketchy nature of your entry into the dream does not matter today, though, because after that you then proceeded to do not one but two DEILD's; so, since DEILD is a form of WILD, we can definitely say that successful WILDs happened here regardless of how things began.

      Nice work!

Got a super good nights sleep the night before so I was reving myself up a bit yesterday that it could be "THE " night - so I planned a wbtb - did lots of mantras yesterday and before bed too - I started to imagine all sorts of extra bits during my time before bed too like - writing this successful email to you ! Also adding to my mantra that my DC"s let me know I am dreaming and I that notice the signs etc ( coz I have been getting a lot of close encounters with DC"s almost pointing out that i am dreaming but me not getting it - missed DILDS)

Went to bed 9pm and sat for about 20 mins thinking about these things and saying Mantra - Building intention + expectation.

Slept well till 12,00 - woke and recorded dream and went to sleep with Mantra.
Woke at 2.30 am Wide awake I lay in bed eyes closed and super awake - I started doing Mantra but for about 15 mins then got up for wbtb. Turned a low light on and sat in a chair - relaxing, saying Mantra with some visualisation ; unpolished but non the less with some clarity - and keeping momentum going knowing I was going to succeed and write email today

Laid down at 4am - earplugs, cushions, fan - darkness. Did 61 points slowly a couple of times.

First time in the dream i was speaking with someone and started noticing i felt funny- my face was super weird feeling and I couldn't carry on the conversation for feeling totally strange - it wasn't till I started waking up that I realised I had gotten to the dream and the strange feelings were part of it ... I felt confident tho that if I laid still I could still be in - so did just that and found my self Lucid in a wonderful room full of all sorts of things - busy with colours and fancyfull things- I wondered around and then remembered I had wanted to shout something out - but when i tried to open my mouth I woke up feeling my actual mouth trying to speak... I laid still once more ... then a little while later I was in the dream again -

Yes! I was in what seemed to be a similar place, I went around feeling great and felt myself rising into the air "wow " I felt myself sitting on the shoulders of a giant rabbit/cat all fury we walked around - I saw a mirror and remember it was something I wanted to do so I said to the creature below me - "lets go through the mirror "and we did but when we arrived through we stood in black space - I woke and felt my body clearly again and the fan, I was in bed - I held still again and bounced into the dream once more - a similar place but not the same. I went outside and saw a wild version of my mother hanging up clothes on a line. I asked her if she could tell me something important about myself ; something I very much need to understand. She began talking about an apple and its core , going into great detail about the significance of each - I asked if she could make it more simple for me. She said its about a Tibetan Saint and his disciple - Oh I said as I was trying to make sense of what she was saying - I woke up again. This time I knew it was late in the morning so I checked the time - it was 6.50 my wake up time

    6. What happened? Post Your WILD Attempts, Good or Bad, Here

I technique, I think Michael Raduga's Phase technique addresses this question to some extent. You might want to look it up (there's a thread on DV about it here). Also, since his Phase is basically a DEILD technique, and DEILD is a form of WILD, reviewing Raduga's technique will not take you away from your overall WILD pursuit.

Other than that, can i get an example run of the WILD technique? Showing all the steps in a basic matter (Awakening, Waiting, etc..) because i'm going for it all next time..

      1. Set a specific day and time for the attempt, based on experimentation/experience (mine is on Wednesday mornings, with WBTB beginning at about 8am).

      2. Stay up a bit late the night before (usually until 2-3am for me) to be sure my personal maximum hours of pre-WBTB sleep pass before WBTB-time (5 hours).

      3. Go to sleep normally, with thoughts of my upcoming WILD prominent in my mind.

      4. Waken around 8am -- I don't use an alarm for this, so sometimes its a bit earlier, sometimes later; I am careful to not get concerned about waking off-schedule.

      5. Do a WBTB for a minimum of 30 minutes, sometimes as long as an hour. During WBTB, I keep my thoughts "dreamy," I review what I'll be doing in my upcoming LD, and I do not watch TV, use the computer or phone, engage in conversation, or do anything that might wake me up too much.

      6. I lay back down and begin my WILD by lying on my back, breathing deeply a few times, and settling into a steady repetition of my day's chosen mantra. I will continue repeating the mantra throughout steps 7 and 8, and sometimes right into step 9.

Special note: be sure when you lay down to begin your WILD you do it in a quiet dark place in which you can be sure that there will be no waking-life intrusions for at least a couple of hours. This seems obvious, but it's often overlooked.

      7. I go to sleep. Because I am a light sleeper, this can take a while (sometimes more than an hour), so I have learned to be very patient. On the path to sleep, I generally hold still, but I do move if I must: I scratch itches, swallow, shift uncomfortable limbs, and even occasionally succumb to the rollover impulse (though I don't recommend that, because it can be very difficult to hang onto your self-awareness during this natural process meant to get you to go to sleep faster). Also on the path to sleep, I quietly ignore the assorted noise that can accompany my journey, because it really does not matter (it doesn't even deserve it's own step number).

      8. I transition to the dream. Still repeating my mantra, I either sense the dream beginning or have already begun forming one of my own (usually the former, because I've found it easier to reform an existing dream than to start from scratch). I then calmly feel myself becoming part of a new world, and remember that it is my dreamworld. (This actually ought to be part of step 7, but, given that the WILD transition is what this entire endeavor is about, I figured it should get its own number.)

      9. I dream. I settle into the dream, taking a moment to remember my sleeping body, remember my goals, and maybe (but not always) do a RRC, all of which help assert my self-awareness, my presence in the dream, and strengthen my access to memory. I usually let the dream play for a very short time before doing anything, just to be sure that my dreaming mind/unconscious is in full dream mode and ready to work with me. Then, with as little thought as possible, I leave the dream I am in and set about assembling a new dream based upon the day's goals (sometimes, though more and more rarely these days, I will stay in that first given dream for a time, if its schema seems interesting or potentially fun).

On a side note, this is the place a lot of people seem to lose their way: they get all the way to the dream, and then either get exited and wake up, fall prey to the grandeur of their dream and lose lucidity, or simply forget that they are supposed to continue being self-aware and lapse into a NLD (often about being lucid, which can be confusing). This is a very good reason for continuing your mantra right into the dream, because it serves as an excellent reminder that you are dreaming.

      10. I notice that I am about to wake up, and prepare to do a DEILD. In order to prolong my dream, and in deference to the fact that we are physically bound to REM periods that max out at about 90 minutes, I take care to notice when I start hearing things like my waking-life breath or white noise machine in the distance, and remind myself that I'll be waking soon. I gather up as much of the fading dream as I can (usually intellectually, by remembering plot lines, major characters, and the last complete state of the scene that is rapidly fading) to prepare for step 11.

      11.
I DEILD. As wakefulness sets in, I gently keep my eyes closed, and, holding onto all the dream details I brought with me, I wait patiently for sleep to resume, and head right back into the dream I just left. I also will return to my last dream even if I am planning on starting a new one once I return to sleep, because for some reason the presence of the last dream makes it easier to form the new dream.

      12. I wake up. On good days wake-up will take a while because I will repeatedly return to the dream through DEILDs, but eventually the party will be over. Then I lay quietly for as long as an hour, reviewing where I've been. Eventually I will get up and set about recording it all in my DJ. The whole process, from first laying down to sleep to closing the DJ's cover, usually lasts 10-12 hours.

That's it in as small a nutshell as I can manage; keep in mind that these steps are the ones I personally take (though I do recommend them), and your specific steps will almost certainly vary.

I hope all this helps, and above all I wish you the best of luck with your WILD dive!

ID:	9349Thank you Gab - I have been reading through lots of stuff over the last weeks and finaly think I am going to settle down with your steps under How 1-9 etc above. Every day :happyme

I REALY liked what you said about talking out loud too as in one LD I spoke to a dream character and managed to say I Am dreaming a cupple of times and I sounded like I was far away under water! So working on it in day time seems an excellent idea
Happy dreaming and oh yes the thread on dream guides you mentioned is amazing and very inspiring for all I think
