Thread: Draw Your Dreams

This moody minx was seen during a bit of hypnopompic imagery just before I got up this morning.

I HI!

Much of these pictures were dreams that I had in the past.

One was when I was in a pyramid and it collapsed on top of me and then I was given choices for reincarnation to another life.

The other ones was about zombies in apartments where I had to walk up a dark set of stairs.

If your interested in knowing what it all says on this paper let me know.

I had a dream today where the clock radio come to life, whilst interfering with the EEG.
(I have used considerable artistic licence on the background however.)

I like it RobStar. And yours too LifeDreamer. I need to start sketching again.

Thanks. I was quite pleased with the two tiny people I drew and the lady on the right. I want to get back into drawing more as at the moment I'm a bit rusty, although I love drawing crazy things out of my head. It is one of the main reasons why I want to have more HH, more vivid or lucid dreams as I'm sure you are aware there is a lot of creativity to be had, etc.

Yes, I sometimes wonder if my clock radio is possessed! (Lol.)
I did intend for the picture to be coloured in, etc. hence the level of shading is set at a certain point. I took a compromise. For example if it was going to be a mono or b/w illustration then I would have emphasised the outline more for the pyramid, face and centre, to force them into the foreground with a hard outline without resorting to pespective. I'd have used more shading, etc. Black never goes out of fashion as they say. The more detail you use then you have to apply it everywhere IMAO. ('A' as in 'Artistic'.)
I'm tempted to do a kaleidoscopic 'Gilbert & George' version like a stained window effect with a real hard outline and trippy colours, but it is having the time unless I do it on the computer.
I do think and draw alot of bizarre things. Take my avatar for example.

(srry about the bad quality) My girlfriend drew this since I can't draw creatures... lol... So yeah I asked her to draw this for me this is a dragon i see in my dreams sometimes... this drawing looks almost identical to it, except that the original one from my dreams has a different shaped arrow at the end of its tail, and the arrow glows red, its eyes glow red, has more spikes, and its a bit more bigger in general. (In my dreams, this dragon actually protects me from evil things. it has appeared in a lot of my dreams lately.) I actually call him Twinkie, despite his threatening appearance.

From my dream last night, possibly another one coming up from the same dream if I can be bothered.

I had a dream last night that a dustbuster looking think was flying around and shooting large paper wads at people.

This is just a simple doodle.

No but anderJ mentioned it to me recently. Is it pretty user friendly?

I like it but I think it could take some getting used to. Just try it. Its free and there are loads of tutorials online.

Edit: Oh yeah and download a brush pack. You can do a lot with brushes real easy. Remember that 3 moon image i posted? I did that from scratch just using brushes.

A couple of water colors from HI

Ok I'm addicted to this thread. Got some stuff from HI last week. HI just gives me the weirdest shit.

I'm a terrible, terrible artist but I still attempted to draw this beautiful winter scene that I had scene while driving through the mountains:



The sun went across the sky in about 10 seconds and kept going back and forth allowing for shadows to move and the whole area to just look incredible. The open part to the left was a field with tall grasses in it swaying in the wind and that's a stream to the right.

Last night, as I recall, my dreams looked like this:

Fuckin' dry spells.

This isn't really a drawing but It's a good interpretation of one of my first LDs. I made it on ms paint with some google images.

I became lucid by random in my dream as I looked in the sky. I saw this roller coaster/ theme park and as I turned around i was walking in a line up-hill to some old shack. On the other side of the line were a bunch of celebrities and random DCs. They were all staring at me and clapping and smiling.

It ended with me inside the shack looking for a mirror and finding out that both of my eyeballs were horribly spinning in circles. I got scared and explored the shack for a few more minutes and witnessed the giant standing cockroach.
