Seagulls will sometimes eat other birds.
When I was at my step-sons wedding in California I spent some time at a wall looking down at a huge flock of pigeons. In the middle of them was a seagull. I thought he looked out of place, then he started attacking one of the other birds. In the end, he thrashed the poor pigeon then began eating it.
:O What the heck? I had to google that when I got home lol.
I got some pics out of it though.

I'll spew some of my knowledge from Terrestrial eco, aquatic eco, and zoo as I remember them. Here is one fact that always stuck with me...
-Sapsuckers have a different "pecking" or cutting technique for each species of tree that they may encounter in order to maximize 'sap profit'. For example, they may cut out a series of closely spaced rectangular pieces of bark for one species... and cut out widely spaced round pieces of bark on another.

Carlos, birds have cloacas. Birds are not mammals. Your cat has a penis.

@gameoverlord345: Pretty much everything you just said was wrong. x:

Box jellyfish are not the most venomous animal in the world. They're certainly one of the most deadly but I'm about 90% sure there's some snake that's worse. They're also bigger than your head and their tentacles are about 10ft long. They don't live around Canada or Hawaii, they're exclusive to Northern Australia and the Indo-Pacific (all of the islands above Australia). You don't die in 30 seconds from being stung, even the deadliest snakes take up to 15 minutes to kill you. First of all, you can get stung a little or a lot and therefore be injected with a little or a lot of venom. Second of all, there's treatments for box jellyfish stings.

There is a jellyfish as big as your nail, though, and just about as deadly as the box: Irukandji jellyfish - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

      Ah well.

Also, it seems there are multiple species of box jellyfish, so I guess that's an umbrella term. The one in Hawaii is Carybdea alata while the most common one, not found in Hawaii and bigger than your head, is the one I linked, Chironex fleckeri. Perhaps the venom between species varies too. I'd assume it's Chironex fleckeri that is the most venomous since it's the most well known.

yeah, i did a reasearch project specifically on the Chironex fleckeri (i need to give genus and species) and i didnt know there were other types :/ on the show maybe they were talking about a type that was the size of ur nail. It said in the show that they made nets in the water to prevent box jellyfish to get in but they did anyways because they slipped in.

Snails have more than 25000 teeth.

In one square foot or forest space you will find more insects than you can find human beings in that much space in Manhattan

seagulls will eat anything. They would probably eat other seagulls if one died.

This is a mind-boggling fact – for each of the 600 million people there is about 200 million insects crawling, flying..

Some linguistic experts have suggested that cows may have different "accents" to their moos depending upon the region an individual cow hails from.

      Very interesting!

Unfortunately, a lot of people I know punish their cat for biting them on the nose or chin. I have owned more cats than I can remember and so long as they're not drawing blood, it's a display of affection.
It's also a myth that ALL cats dislike having their stomach pet. My cats love it. It's also how we romp though and I started them as kittens, so maybe that has something to do with it (tickle the belly, gently grab the face and shake it, tap one side of the belly then the other like a person tapping someone from behind on the opposite shoulder. It keeps them guessing lol. But when it's time to settle down, rest them in the crook of your arm when they're kittens and gently pet their belly etc

Male cats are, generally speaking, much more affectionate than females and make better family pets.

Cats have no ability to taste sweetness and have scent producing glands on their face and on the bottoms of their feet!

Flies have tasting glads in their feet!

Horseshoe crabs have blue copper based blood.

Birds have only one exit hole for all their bodily waste, yuck!

Electric Eels are not eels, they are actually closer to catfish and they can grow up to 8 feet (2.5 meters) long!

      Sharks never get cancer.

Chickens have a gene for growing teeth!

Humans are taller in the morning after sleep by about a little less than a centimeter.

These gerbil like things called lemmings follow each other off of cliffs or into rivers if they run out of food and stuff.

And I thought this was pretty funny, found it on wikipedia:
Misconceptions about lemmings go back many centuries. In the 1530s, the geographer Zeigler of Strasbourg proposed the theory that the creatures fell out of the sky during stormy weather
