Thread: Tell me what you would want done with your dead body.

I'd like to be recycled in some way. Maybe have wild animals eat me. Be buried in the woods in a plain pine box. OR that freeze-drying then pulverizing thing that started in the Netherlands.

Being donated to science isn't that bad an idea actually, I'd be alright with that. It would be nice not to be embalmed, or be cut open and whatnot, but I don't really have a moral stand against it. I always wanted to take gross anatomy in school, but it doesn't pertain to my degree, osteology is about as close as I'll ever get.

Anyhow, cremation is lame, such a tremendous waste of energy and all the other resources in your body.

If I could fantasize as much as possible... I would like to be cyro frozen in the depths a dark cave. To sustain freezing tempertures I would like many energy extracting technologies. Harvesting energy from a dam would provide more than enough energy without need for man's intervention.

If something goes wrong with the system I could have many fail safes such as solar panels, ect. This way my body can stay perserved long after mankind dies out(if they do that is)

I like my "Pod" to be set upright. Electric blue lights can light up my cave section and illuminate my corpse while I have my hands crossed over my heart. The next intelligent primitive specie on earth will find and deem me a lost relic of the past, and possibly "almost god-like". Yeah... I can be full of myself.

I don't know if anyone has posted this yet, so I'll go for it.


I compose, so if I knew I was dying, I would do two things:

1) If time alloted, compose a requiem.

2)Have my body cremated, and the ashes put into fireworks.

Then, I would have my will state that the requiem would have to be performed at a celebration of life (in the evening.) No tears, no sadness, no bull_____. As soon as night fell, I would have the requiem performed while I'm blown into the sky.

The only way I could make that better is if it was raining. I love the rain. =D

Swing me across the funeral on tiny guide-wires. At which point, a few of my close friends would don rediculous clothing and jump up and begin cheering, and the reception would begin. No need to get all sad about poor old me.

I'm assuming you'd get embalmed, or your funeral would be very shortly following your death? Or are we going for extra-gruesome?

Lol, I've thought of two ways: One is to be creamated and thrown somewhere. I don't want to be buried. If there really are zombies, I don't want to kill people, lol.

And two would be to maybe give myself up for science. But I don't want college students, or worse a necrophilliac getting me. ><

A. I want my skin stuffed and put into this pose:




B. I want to be cremated. Then I would like my ashes secretly cooked into the food of a fancy 5-star restaurant. Then people would have unknowingly eaten me!!! I'd live on in a few hapless diners forever and ever and ever.

I want to be devoured by monkeys, digested, and flung at tourists.

I would like to be stretched out so I'm really tall, and then make me the worlds largest rubber band.

I want my body to decompose, and my bones used to beat Richard Dawkins to death with, proving that there is infact life after death.

Ideally i want to die undisturbed in a forest and have my remains never found,returning to soil.If i were to die right now, however, i would wish to be cremated and my ash scattered over my pet dogs' graves.

No autopsy, embalming or any of that crap. Burn that shit up, put it in an urn (maybe something cool with a satyr on it) set it on top of my amp and put my ES-335 on a stand next to it for my "funeral". Open bar, pump the tunes, and for the love of God don't hold it in a church.

Donate it to the porn industry.

I want mine to rot in the ground.

Donate whatever organs can be salvaged.

Bury the rest of me.

But seriously, I don't think I'll care what happens. I could always sign up to be in a Body Worlds exhibit. That would be funny, especially if I make a mark on the world. "And here we have subject X. When she was alive, she invented invention Y!"

I want to be hollowed out and filled with ice, with my hands stuck in a "C" position. That way people can bring me to parties, and put beers or other drinks in my hands, pants or shirt and i'll keep them nice and cool.

i just don't want a grave site. i wouldn't want my family to feel guilty about not visiting my dead rotting ex-soul cage on my birthday... or deathday... or anniversary... ect.

so i guess, cremated... with my ashes put in the slider of a triple blown glass bong on top of my smoke buddies mantle... a cached bowl as my final resting place would somehow be fitting.

I'd be donated to science, so at least I don't go to complete waste.
