What supplements/drugs/vitamins do you take for LDing?

      Hi guys,
I know there are a lot of threads out there on supplementation but the thing I often find lacking is any sort of statistics on what people take what. So,
What do you take to supplement your LD chances, vividness, length, etc. and at what times in what amounts?

Once you're done answering that I wrote a thread about my own research into this and I was hoping to get your opinions on my ideas:

I am fairly convinced that egg yolk and fish oil help.

I don't take anything, honestly. I feel that people can LD just fine without them.

I use a 200mg B6 pill and 1mg B12 pill at least twice a week (somewhat better recall)

I also sometime eat a spoonful of peanut butter in the night (no clue, just do it because I saw it on a lit of things that work, so I just do it)

I would try more stuff but I'm too broke

choline, 5-htp, galantamine (never more than once each 3 days to be safe), melotonin. Those are the big ones I got from Thomas Yuschak's book. The best i've ever had was when I was on malaria meds, but thats another story entirely. Anyway, all thats over the counter. Melotonin and the 5-htp at bed, wbtb with the choline and galantamine and you have great odds of a LD. Works pretty well, but I want to get to the point where I can LD everynight without stims, so I don't do this too often. Look up advanced lucid dreaming, the power of supplements by Thomas Yuschak if you're curious about any of this.
Once more into the breach dear friends, once more! And fear not its darkness, for it is only a figment of my imagination!

I use melatonin 4-8mg, not for lucid dreaming though, I use them to sleep; lucid dreaming is a side effect .

I haven't taken sleep supplements before this.

For the past three days I have been experimenting with melatonin.

Mainly to try to help me regulate my sleeping rhythm, which has been pretty much out of whack for the past couple of months. But also because of the added bonus of vivid dreams. The dosage I have are 60x3mg tablets. So the first two days I took 3mg each. Two hours after I took them I tried to sleep and had very intense closed eye visuals. The dreams that night were very vivid as well and I could remember them clear and well the next day. But it took me a long time to fall asleep. I read that with Melatonin there is actually a U-curve of effect, meaning that if you take too much it will actually keep you from falling asleep. (Depends on the person, there is no "right dosage", so you got to take the "try and error" approach) Last night I tried half and fell asleep a lot quicker, but without the visuals and added dream recall. Hm. But interesting stuff.

Tonight, I will apparently add a couple of beers into the equation

Hmm. I tend to use Niacin instead of melatonin. It's a bit more efficient. Still keeps me up if I take too much though

The only vitamin I take religiously is B-complex but I do not think it has any effect on LDs what-so-ever.

Fish oil will most likely increase your dream recall.. Try taking 500mg of fish oil every night, see if it helps. It should
