      Thanks again Puffin. =P
      No problem!
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Just be careful you really are in a dream before jumping off a cliff- could be nasty

I use finger through palm and finger count, as these are the only ones I could find I didn't mind practicing in public, and could do any time-I always thought nose plug would look odd at school for example

I have two reality checks actually. The nose plug has yet to fail. I also use the phasing check in which i phase my hands into a part of my body. I phased my hand into my stomach a few LDs ago but it felt odd so i wont be doing that again.

I have RC tattooed on my wrist =D
Yeah, I'm pretty into lucid dreaming. But this has never failed me, I've looked at my wrist and seen a different tattoo like a heart or something, a couple times it's been a similar tattoo but just different letters, the last time I used it a couple nights ago there was just a smudge of dirt on my wrist.

I always carry Leonardo Dicaprio around in my pocket. If I think I'm in a dream I'll take him out and spin him. If he doesn't stop spinning I know I'm in a dream.

Yup, nose-plug works best for me

      Things I've done while Lucid:

      - Flying - Dream Rewind and Fast Forward
      - Invisibility - Shapeshifting - Grown Wings
      - Summoning [mastered (?)] - Zip lining
      - Fireball

RC-ing for me is to stare at a particular point in the environment, such as a speck of dirt on the wall. If the world starts falling apart, you are dreaming, and then you immediately stop staring and reconstruct the world to whatever you like. If the world doesn't fall apart, you're probably not dreaming.

However, this method easily results in just stopping REM and making you lose consciousness. I'll try nose-plugging more often.

Another method I use is to read a book. Usually the text doesn't morph by themselves in my dreams, nor do they change by the second look, but I RC by looking at a word and intently focusing on it and telling the book to change that word. Sometimes I try willing the font to change.

You can also put your hand on the table and watch it sink through... in dreams that happens and more often than not the dream table gets wrecked...

whatever is available for me. In my room there is a mirror and a clock so i use both of em. If not, nose plug. The nose plug didnt work for me in a dream once. But the mirror, clock and the 'using electronics' RC are the most chance to work.
