So I tried to DEILD, and my whole house started trembling like an earthquake.

So this morning, I woke up and stayed still with my eyes closed. I began to DEILD, I couldn't recall my dream, so I imagined I was in a zoo. Patting all the animals, smelling stuff, hearing it, it worked pretty well. I did this for what felt like five minutes and I realised I was in a dream, (kind of) Like 90 % I guess. I came back into darkness, and I felt like I was ready for a lucid. I wanted to open my eyes, and be in my room. (FA)
Suddenly, my whole body vibrated, and the house started shaking (Not real obviously) I wanted to open my eyes, but I somehow knew that they would be my real eyes, not me dream eyes. Can someone help? Sorry for long post.

I think you were going through the transition stages usually felt in WILDs. Some people say DEILDs are a type of WILD. So I think vibrations and sounds can be felt both in the beginning and in the end of WILDs as long as you remain lucid all the time.

DEILD are exactly like WILD's except they are usually easier to get into because your mind is still somewhat in the REM stages or dream stage of sleep. The earthquake feeling is probably part of your transition, if you stayed in it you would have either emerged into a dream scene or you would eventuallly open your eyes and be in a LD.

Yeah just try it again, weird things happen sometimes during DEILD or any other WILD technique XD

Your sooo close to entering a LD.. just wen you feel the vibrations it means you gotta relax and wait..u might see some hallucinations, don't try and enter them like its your dream just kinda look at them and your dream with start to form around you, do a RC and there you go!

If you know that you would most likely open your body's eyes instead of your dream eyes, why not just try and visualise another scene?

Mmm true, It's because I was visualising for ages, and I couldn't enter the dream, but when the house started vibrating I though I'd open my eyes and be in a dream
