Hello everyone, my name is Austin. I am new to the dream views community, but have been attempting lucid dreaming for about 2 months now. Since the first day I tried the WBTB technique, I have had 3 successful lucid dreams, the latest of which happened this morning.
I woke up at about 6am out of a dream. The details of this dream are somewhat irrelevant at this point, but if you all would like to hear about it I am more than willing to relay the experience. Once I awoke from this dream, I did a RC, recorded the dream in my journal, and proceeded to meditate for another 20 minutes before returning to sleep. The next thing I noticed was that I woke up and was looking out my window. I was feeling a bit weird, and was questioning some of the things I was seeing outside, so I did an RC and found that I was dreaming. Sadly, i forgot about the dream when I woke up, so I didn't record it immediately. Because of this, I do not have all the details of the dream. The problem, however, was that once I realized I was dreaming, I couldn't control my environment like I desired. I have had a lucid dream where I attained full lucidity and control, but this dream seemed different. I knew I was dreaming and that I could control every aspect of the dream, but for some reason, I just was not able to.
Does anyone have any advice for scaling the levels of lucidity within a dream when you already know you can have full control?
