First of all... Congratulations to your fast progress!

I have practiced lucid dreaming for about 4 years and my most vivid and most controllable lucid dreams have been after a realized false awakening.
Basic Guides tells you to try different stabilization techniques so you can try doing that when you get lucid like:

      * Screaming "I AM LUCID! WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO" verbal language somehow stabilize it.
      * Feeling an object with your hands and then for an increased effect bang your head against it, just make sure it isn't a dream character.
      * Like above I somehow get more aware if I try to feel pain in my dreams, so are you dreaming? YES Ok then PINCH YOURSELF!

My lucid dreams actually doesn't last long either so I have tried to remember to do the things above but I don't always remember it.
So if you are going to try those things make sure you have it planned already so you really know that the first thing you should do when you become lucid is to do those actions.

My friend told me to plan ahead but I thought "No if I am lucid I will be totally aware and remember to do it". Well that is usually not the case...
So in my dream journal you can now see lots of lucid dreams that I wasted just because I didn't plan ahead!
Do not make the same mistake as I did.

Another RISKY but highly effective way to make a dream stable and vivid is to chain it. You might have heard of the DEILD technique if you haven't go and read about it.

You just have to think about your physical body in bed and that might wake up you OR give you another false awakening. It might not work for you, but when it does for me I am more aware of my thoughts and memories than what I would have been after a DILD.

I hope you learn to master the art of dreaming, I sure plan to

And sorry for long post, but you really needed help
