Okay so after many trial and error I finally had my first official lucid dream! Im so stoked. I used DILD and Binaural beats. But I think 2 things happened at the same time. Pleas let me explain: |

From what I've heard, the sensations for astral projection and lucid dreaming are extremely similar, so its going to be difficult to definitively tell. I'd imagine it was a big lucid, though because astral projection would tend to involve being intangible and yet your brother was able to kick you. |

Congratulations! |

You may say I'm a dreamer.
But I'm not the only one - John Lennon
Thanks guys. Well that was after I had a false awakening (right definition?) but you are right. Its just weird having SP inside of a dream like that its never happened. I love those binaural beats tho they kick ass haha |

Awesome, congrats on your lucid dream! I have been experimenting with binaurals, but have yet to have any success with them. I'm currently using a program, Atmosphere Deluxe, to make my own nature sounds and add in Theta Binaurals to promote REM sleep. Anyway, no luck with them yet--glad to see they do work! |

Ive been looking into his techniques I have been really eager to try. I might try soon. as to your binaural beats, I personally do not listen to any beats with nature sounds in them. Like birds or water or the wind. They throw me off and leave me unable to sleep and they keep me awake. I only use the beats with that 3.9 or 6hz tone (or whatever the hell it is) or in other words, nature free lol. That is coming from my personal experience though I cant say for sure the true outcome. |

Oh that's so awesome! I actually just found out about binaural beats a week or so ago, and was a bit skeptical. The first one I tried was supposed to simulate a trip, so I started playing it (it didn't have any background music either, just the beats). After about ten minutes I started feeling really weird, it felt like my legs suddenly got impossibly long and melted into the bed, and then it felt almost like all my bodily sensations vanished and I was just made of air and my hands, which were on my chest, sunk right through me. It definitely freaked me out but I kept at it, and started hearing laughter and seeing colorful lightening and weird shadow faces. It definitely dissolved my skepticism! |

Please do post some links. I've also tried binaurals, but not had much success, but then maybe you have some better ones that actually work..... |

I gave that one a try before bed to see what would happen. About ten minutes in I started getting this really bad anxious feeling and saw long black lines wiggling around in the upper part of my vision. It totally freaked me out but was awesome at the same time |

I've still had no luck with binaural beats yet; I tried yesterday with the theta binaurals while WILDing, and still nothing. I'm starting to wonder if my mind is resistant to binaurals, LOL. I might give the video you just posted a try, see if it works for me. |

Cool! They really only just make it easier, they arent a guarantee. I use em every night but I dont LD every night. Then again I have been getting lazy lol. Just make sure its a long one, and its loud enough to hear clearly but not keep you from falling asleep. And make sure to still follow through with your routine to whatever method you are using. |

That's a great start man! Same thing happened to me. When I got further I felt, seen, and heard stron vibrations all over and around my body. Went I went further I had sleep paralysis and started to focus and I had a Lucid Dream shortly afterwards. It took my 3rd try to finally nail it cuz I too would get nervous in the beginning. Just remember when you get those feelings or the feelings I described, to stay calm and focus. And when you lucid dream try not to get super excited so it lasts as long as it can. Its really hard not to tho lol I got so stoked I focred myself awake and jumped on here lol. GOOD LUCK TO YOU BRO! |

Oh that's awesome, I was kinda sad thinking it may have been having a different effect on me; I didn't think it would lead to lucid dreaming for me because I just assumed any binaural beat for dreaming should make me tired. So that's good to know that the same sensations happened to you as well before you fell into a lucid dream, it makes me more motivated! |
