      Unable to Lucid Dream

So I've been able to lucid dream before, through WILD, DILD, and DEILD techniques, and they all were pretty easy, now I can't seem to do any of them.

With dild my dreams are almost always very much like real life, the oddest thing is that I go to a different looking school every time, but it still feels exactly like "school"to me so it'll be hard to do rc for that.

WILD became my main method as a result of that, but in a WILD I entered, there was only visuals, no sound and no tactile feeling, after that dream doing a WILD became near impossible.
My main problem is that I never really find a point where I can actually enter the dream, I can spend half an hour in HH and none of it is stable enough to turn into a dream.

With DEILD it used to be insanely easy, just lay in bed with my eyes closed and put a certain feeling in my head to make it feel like it was floating and I'd be able to create the dream.
Now I just can't get that to work, my guess is I'm sleeping more then I used to so I'm not as tired.

      Any suggestions are appreciated

Did you start smoking pot? It is very bad for LDing. I think sleeping a lot is a good thing, so it probably is not that.

Don't oversleep but make sure you are getting enough sleep. If you aren't tired because you slept too much doing a WILD, DILD or any other method is not worth it. Also, don't rush things just because they were easier before. Relax, set an intention and it will probably work. If it doesn't happen don't stress. There is always tomorrow or the next day after that.

If you find yourself frequently in school settings in your dreams, do daytime (and nighttime) MILD visualizations: imagine yourself in a dream in a school and seeing yourself recognizing the school setting and getting lucid.

Yeh I'd recommend doing MILD, much easier than WILD and it doesn't mess with your sleep. Sleeping more is good, more REM time!

UPDATE: I tried to do a WILD today, but every time I tried to move in the dream I'd wake up since I was moving my real life body as well.

I tried waiting a bit before trying to move in the dream, but I didn't want to wait too long or I'd forget I'm in a dream

Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right.

^A mostly meaningless platitude in general, but literally true in the context of lucid dreaming.

Next time attempt to float up out of bed. In a dream this should work, but you do not risk moving your body.
