I need some guidance here, it is a subject that is very close to my heart.
My father in Law passed away a couple of years ago, we all loved him very much - since his departure a few of us have been having dreams that he has suddenly come back to life - for example he didn't really die, or he was somehow able to be revived after being dead for months. Every time I have this dream I find it emotionally draining.
Now I understand that these types of dreams are probably quite common, but here is where it gets strange:
About a year ago I dream t that he was hiding behind a tv in his house, scared, I was lucid - he reached out and hugged me - he seemed to be asking for help.
After that I have had many dreams where he is with us again, but last night I had a strange one - I asked him to come upstairs with me so that we could speak in private - I then asked him (knowing that he'd been dead for a while) what happened after he died - he looked a combination of stressed, scared and sad - 'there is nothing' he told me 'nothing' All of a sudden I realized I was dreaming, with this knowledge I turned to him and said 'look at the world around you - it is not the normal world' (I was trying to suggest that his reality had changed, he WAS dead) but he looked at me confused - I don't know if he understood - but it was too late - I woke.
Are these dreams just in my head or could I be really communicating with my father in law?
Could it be that somehow he is existing in our dreams/or we are being pulled to him?
Could it be that he doesn't know he is dead?
If that is the case - then how do I make him understand he is dead?
Thank you for taking the time to read this
