I think that taking the time to write out my dream journal on paper, writing it out in my dream journal, and writing it out again here has helped immensely with my dream recall. It's like with any talent -- do it over and over and over again; you get good at it.

It's not my experiment but I'm part of it. Not shared dreaming, but shared daydreaming so it's similar. I think it's been very successful so far.

Interesting, I had a dream where Johnny Depp was wearing the Thriller outfit Michael Jackson wore. Not saying that the skeleton and the outfit has any correlation, just a slight chuckle when I saw this.

*chuckle* Michael Jackson looked like a skeleton, regardless of which outfit he wore.

Seriously, though... Mom and I were talking yesterday about a little art project I made in 1st grade of a skeleton, which we hung on the door each year for Halloween. It eventually fell apart on its own; but it held together for about 20 years. I think that's what triggered the memory. Thank goodness nothing of Michael Jackson *shiver*.

I picked out the word Ecdysteroid , went to the glossary, and it stated:

"A steroid hormone, secreted by the prothoracic glands, that triggers molting in arthropods.

Then I tried to find an association for an Arthropod, and picked Mayfly.

And like Mindraker did, he included Two words, so the password that I picked was:

"Golden Mayfly"

I'll try my best to collect all the data into a Microsoft Word format, or even an Excel Format later on, right now, I have to go to a counselor meeting and then a History Discussion Course.

I will get on the data collection ASAP, I only have one class on Fridays, and just have to go to one event before and another after.

Anyway, thanks to those who participated, and the one who was closest....at least twice from what I can remember off the top of my head was Sivason.

He had two password attempts of Muscles, and then Golden Lizard.

Close. I know this experiment does not prove shared dreaming was apparent, but it does portray that others were able to shift towards archetypes related to Biology as a whole.

I was kind of shocked by how early Sivason was close.

One thing that bothers me is the Lizard Man that the majority of participants, and myself experienced.

And in a nutshell:

The experiment was to get 3 participants that I would attempt to find and "share" dreams with them, while there were a few control variables that would find me, but I would not attempt to find them at all.

The aim was to hopefully sleep around the same time by gathering everyone's timezones, and I would devote certain days to attempt synching in with certain members.

I was able to give the password twice (I'll have to double check), but whether those dreams themselves was just suggestive nature of wanting to give the password is very high.

So as a person seeking the 3 participants, I've failed in attempting to be in a situation in a dream what another participant would be aware of as well.

Though it is interesting seeing how Sivason managed to be 50% right on the password, even though it could've merely been day residue for him to get the password of "Golden Lizard."

My "Blue Sky" scenario for lifting my vibration so I can lift into high astral plains (dreamplanes) is the sound of a massive swarm of cicadas. One night I woke in pain and began wondering about how lucky cicardas are that they live 17 years safely underground Then one night they all crawl up together, molt into winged creatures for 2 weeks then die.

I started wondering how long creatures like butterfly or moth live especially those who emerge from cocoone with no mouth parts. I Googled "shortest life span" and first found "Luna Moth and bookmarked a Luna Moth Youtube then found the "Giant Mayfly" and bookmarked the David Attenbourah Youtube (above).

It comes to the surface and molts to escape the water. Then as it dries on a tree it molts a final time and dies 30 minutes later after mating.

Not a dream but a wonderful synchronisity.

I think sivison kept hitting it.

I love these games.

Fascinating! If I recall, my "Lizard man" wasn't golden... but looked more like the Gecko from the Geico commercials, or was even wearing a hooded cloak. I can guarantee you that nowhere in my dreams did the word "Ecdysteroid" come up, ha ha.
But I do agree that it's interesting that there's a common denominator among our dreams, too, relating to an animal.

That image does enlarge the animal quite a bit... did you envision the animal to be that size in your dreams? I would certainly be uneasy if I saw a fly that large... anywhere. If I recall, I was in combat with one of my Lizard Men.

I had the intention of showing it like an artifact, like a mini-golden statue of one. I'm not one to try and scare others with big insects and animals, since I wouldn't have that control in the first place.

Hey, that is pretty cool. We have talked about how convying exact words may be a problem, and that thing is kind of shaped roughly like a lizard. It is a stretch, but if the image was blurry, it could be, lets say, lizardish.

I would half to look back, but I think many of the images I reported as possible passwords where the combination of a color and then a biological life form. That can also prove nothing, but I think one was silver fish and one was pink spider. So maybe the thoughts Link put out were reaching me in a archetype simplified thought, such as a color/ and an animal.

What fun.

FINALLY...After 3+ hours of sitting and typing all this information into Excel in one sitting...

AHHH I'm crazy for doing that in one sitting, making sure every bit of information was perfect....

Cool so I had Silver Fish and Giant Insect also. Both have a descriptive and an animal. Silver is often considered like gold. Oh lets stretch and say insect is like may fly.
