50 Week RV Experiment: Week 1

This thread is part of this experiment: http://www.dreamviews.com/beyond-dre...xperiment.html

Okay, I have found a perfectly black cardboard box with no labels or pictures on it. Inside are two objects (not 2D images.)

Here is the randomly generated number I have assigned to the first object:
      1655218

And the number for the second object:
      5011646

Week 1 starts tomorrow, Sunday, November 1, 2013. Tomorrow, you may start posting your results. You may post your results any time between Sunday and Saturday at midnight, Hawaii Standard Time. On November 8th, I will post pictures of the two objects in the box in this thread. Please post your results for this week in this week's thread. All other discussion about the ongoing experiment can be posted in the main thread.

Thank you for participating! Have fun!

This sounds like a neat project - I think I'll give it a shot.

When I woke yesterday and today nice dreams dissappeared too quickly to catch. But both times I was left with a fattish pen, blue to look at, so that's my guess for week 1 rv target.

I hope this link works. It's on Google Images. I am on my phone.

My hipnapop (waking dream imahe) was like this but fatter

      Okay.

No photos or identified objects, but There was this bit...

So I WILDed into a dream today, and quickly got to my personal dream plain (not astral, 'sfar as I can tell) and set about a search for that radio tower.

I found it immediately, just on the horizon. I started heading for it and, as it loomed above me, and I was noticing that the landscape of this plain was orange, rather than the purple shade it usually is, I realized that I had completely forgotten the whole deal with the numbers, and for that matter where to look for the objects... I had forgotten to do my homework! A little miffed, I lost focus and woke up (not immediately, but probably after a NLD, which I've forgotten).

Here comes the reason I'm sharing: When I awoke, I sighed and wordlessly told myself, "Screw it; you conjured the tower. Might as well at least see what's around; and maybe I can get that tower to do some sort of feedback loop (whatever that meant)." So I DEILD'ed back in, to pretty much the same spot at the base of that radio tower where I had been when I lost interest. Except this time there was activity... a large gang of gorillas, led by a fairly surly orangutan, was swarming all over the tower. They shredded it in seconds and draged its bits over the horizon, which had returned to being purple. Annoyed, mostly at myself for forgetting my homework, I scrapped my plans and wandered off into a different dream, muttering, "Next time."

I know it was nothing, but felt a need to share...

Thanks for posting. To clear up any confusion:

This is how the experiment will work:
Every week, for fifty weeks, I will place two objects or images in a box, then assign them randomly chosen numbers. You may use the numbers, and me as targets.
When you remote view, write the number of the target on a sheet of paper, now draw whatever lines you see. Note color, texture, size, shape, sounds, smell, light, shadow. Write as many adjectives as you can. Do not concern yourself with guessing what the object or image is. Take a photo of your drawing, and type your adjectives for each number before the end of the week, then post in the thread for those week's experiments. On Sunday evenings, Hawaii time, I will reveal the images or photos of the objects in the box.

      Ok boss

I will stay in my dream journal. I will use this, your rv thread, to help me get some dream recall.

And if I "hit" a target then I will come to this thread just to skite about it.

      The pictures are absolutely necessary.
There are very good reasons to draw the lines, to use descriptive words, and to avoid trying to guess what the targets are. This is all aimed at getting as many hits per target. The idea is not, as some apparently perceive, to psychically guess what the target is. The purpose is to perceive as much varying data as possible about the target.

The reason we draw targets in remote viewing is to increase the number of hits per target. For example, you draw a large X, and the target is an image of a ship with a broken mast in a storm. The large X has angles which match the angles of the mast, which is a hit. You may also have some wavy shapes, which match lines in the image of waves, which is another hit. You have these words written: day, sun, wave, cold, sea, ship, bird, tree, rails, clouds, forest, posts, pine, noisy, thunder, wet
Now, it's possible, as you write and draw, that you begin to try to guess what the target is.

      YOU MUST RESIST THIS TEMPTATION.

Trying to guess the target will throw yourself off. For example, let's say as you draw this large X with some wavy lines, and some of the words, you begin to guess that the target is a train bridge over a valley with a forest below, so you draw a train bridge over a valley with a forest below, then you start to add words to that fit your guess. This is counterintuitive. The purpose is to use your intuition.
I am trying to get you to turn that part of your brain off that wants satisfaction for "a good guess," like we got when we were in school. There is no One Guess per target. I want to see many lines drawn per target. I want to see many words describing angles, texture, smells, sounds, color, emotional impressions (single words) and tastes. The reason you draw more lines and use more words is to increase your hits.
Remote Viewing is a skill which requires practice, time, and effort, but not that much time! Each target drawing should and word list should only take about 2 to 5 minutes per target. So, you are doing about 10 to 15 minutes of practice a week with this experiment.
The purpose of this experiment is to firstly help you test your own skills, and secondly, practice and hone your skills.
I want everyone to get off on the left foot, and have a good foundation as you begin.
So, please do it over. Write the codes of the object at the top of the paper. Draw lines. Write descriptive words. Do it again with the other one. Upload the image.

I am adding the rule that you must not tell us your guess of what you think the target is in order to keep your mind open as you remote view. This is for your benefit, to increase your number of hits per target.

Sivason's post is almost exactly how you're supposed to do it. His post just needs the target codes next to the target, and that's it. His drawings are simple, which is completely fine. Everyone should be able to draw some lines on a paper, and write a word list for each target. Just a word list, not a sentence describing it.
Also, I forgot to add that you should use one sheet of paper for each target. This helps us from getting impressions jumbled. Also, remember to write the target code at the top of the paper. There are less than 24 hours remaining before I reveal photos of the target objects for the week 1 experiment. I am looking forward to seeing the results of this experiment.

Just woke up, no dream recall. I was starting to feel embarrassed about having nothing to post when I got a suble hipnapop. ...

      Hipnapopic image (waking image):

Comming out from a tiny point in the center of my vision was a slightly wavy (pink-purple) square. One after the other.

Felt like it was soft like handkerchiefs.

You don't sleep to remote view. Remote viewing is done while awake. Just sit at a table with a pen and paper. Keep your eyes open. Write the code at the top, and then draw any lines you that you sense without judging right or wrong, just draw until you feel you are done. Then, write a list of words, and take a photo of the image, and post it here. Just 4 and a half your left in the first week.

Thank you for posting. Unfortunately, Week 1's experiment ended 12/7/2013 at midnight HST. Because you used the codes, and I haven't revealed the images of the objects yet, you may have got some good hits. I have already changed what is in the black box.
I hope you continue to participate. Please draw images, then upload photos of your drawings if and when you try again.

I see some likeness there. I am satisfied

      Item 1:
      Oblong -miss
Soft but not fluffy - near hit, 'tis hard, but it has some give, being cardboard
      3.5" -hit!
Organic (of life, not how it was grown) -hit! made of wood paper
Greenish with tan -hit! it is tan, and near hit for greenish, because the other target is green and grey
      Specific~ fruit?

      Object 2:
      Long/ narrow - hit!
Tapered - near hit, the cord gives a kind of tapering effect
      5" long - hit!
Dark ( black or dark blue) - hit! black, grey, and green
On you drawing you wrote mechanical. It is mechanical and electronic, so I call that a hit.

Specific~ mechanical pencil or similar writing item)

Great job, sivason! Now do people understand why I insist on uploading your drawings?

I just noticed something. Next to the first object (a circle with in an ovoid, instead of a circle with a hollow center), I drew a second figure. It looks a lot like the second item (two objects connected with a line).

I noticed that. Another really funny thing is that I forgot to crop the USB device out of the background of the photo, but I did not take that photo until the experiment was over! Maybe you remote viewed the digital photo I took in the future!

      Thank you Waking Nomad

For posting the picturs of week ones two targets

How would you describe the targets. What descriptive words would you use?

I can't tell what they are.

It's a masking tape roll, and a USB connector device.
