I don't think so no. But that would be awesome. I've been saying for years that VR-WoW is the next advancement for MMORPGS, where you can cast spells based on motion controls and move in real time to dodge/stab stuff. Maybe someday we will see it. VR-WoW would be so cool. The closest I've seen to this is 'Zenith: The Last City' but it doesn't have anywhere near the depth of WoW.

I'm playing in a bit of a nostalgic way, not really trying to get good gear or anything, just visiting old places. I fired up an old vanilla private WoW server just the other day and did this for a few hours. Have you ever been lucid in a WoW-like dream?
It was a weird one! Would've liked to be lucid there and see what the heck was going on!
My brother is here now. I'm showing him "the places where parts of me died". Sounds like a concept for some inspirational movie, haha.
This "1.5h cycle" is very theoretical, but it is good enough for searching REM cycle. I'm using that methodology: -If you will wake up with fresh dream that mean you woke up right after REM; -If remembered dream is old you can say you woke up before REM; -If you woke up by yourself that mean you have shallow dream and probably you are close to REM; -If you woke up and you are very tired and dazed that mean you have deep sleep. Thanks for nice words!
Hey I just saw this, sorry! It's cool that you were able to pinpoint your REM sleep! I think the generally accepted values for good REM are 4.5hrs and 6hrs into sleep. These are probably based on 1.5hr sleep cycles. For example, 4.5hrs is 3 cycles (1.5 x 3) and 6hrs is 4 cycles (1.5 x 4). So your data seems to line up with that. I've had success with WBTBs after 6 hours pretty consistently, but I do want to test other timings as well. Maybe your optimal timing is within that 4:45 to 7:15 window. Nice!
It is kinda weird that it happened twice
Banjo-Kazooie again! haha - i miss that game man - it was so good as a kid.
Yeah I'm actually liking it a lot. Woke up this morning and realized it was blocking a ton of light from the bathroom window (which is the glass-brick style so I can't easily cover that). Daniel Love suggests them in his book (Are You Dreaming?) so I thought I'd give one a try. Loving the book so far. If you haven't already read that one, I'd highly recommend it. Damn them mantas are good lookin' masks. I just have one off Amazon.
I never used sleep masks until my wife got me the manta when we started dating. Now I'm all about them.
Man I feel like at this point my brain is just trolling me. Someday we'll get there!
What a finish to the comp. Silverlight Way is nearing...
Thank ya!
Man that's a lot of lucid time! Banjo Kazooie made me laugh : P. Awesome final night - congrats!
Thanks man! Before kissing or licking any inanimate objects in the future I'm gonna make sure I take a full bite so it counts for the points
That is one awesome lucid! Really long!! Congrats man. When I was a teen I used to have waves in so many of my dreams and lucids - they were so beautiful - good you got to enjoy some of those experiences : ). Haha licking the wall was great too. I remember Xanous talked about making out with the sidewalk years ago to stabilize - I remember trying to kiss the sidewalk one time - didn't work that well haha.
Thank ya! This one felt like about 20 minutes but hard to say for sure
Nice man! You finally got it (Well, maybe not the EFF™ but a very nice lucid! ) How long was this one time-wise? Answered the Dream Control questions in to the main thread
Yeah good catch. If it is to be repeated over and over, it makes sense for me to be thinking about the plan in present tense. While re-reading this I realized it could be read such that I was just trying to win comp (which is a nice side-effect), but it is more than that. I'll add that while I want to do well in the comp primarily the goal is to have good lucid dreams. Points are just an easy way to quantify that.
