Kinda like when you go away on a long vacation, and when you come back home, it feels a bit odd at first, if you know what I mean. Hey, very insightful! That analogy had never crossed my mind but it's perfect. Come to think of it, seconds after stepping back into the house after our last vacation, I did a reality check because I had exactly that weird feeling. I love the idea of the multi-arm transformation w/ the Lakshmi pose. That's on my dream goals list and I even had a non-lucid about growing more arms. Unfortunately, when I looked at my "arms", it was nothing but a suit a la Doctor Octopus. And congratulations on the two lucids in a single nap. Impressive... I'm still yet to have even one LD via nap!
Ouch, yeah, you're right ... that was a bit creepy. I was starting to worry about the folks in that jeep just before they revealed themselves!
That's a great idea, I try to do that as well, though not as much lately as I haven't had too many nightmares. I'll keep that in mind though, thanks!
Ah, these nightmares can be tough stuff. The ones where something awful happens to a DC with whom you've formed a bond are particularly bad. In your case, you had the personal stake of a caring rescuer. Having been treated to a grisly "murder witness" nightmare like this a weeks back, I can only say that I really sympathize! Here's one idea that you might find interesting. With mine, the nightmare scene would flash back through my mind every once in a while over the next few days. I'd try to catch myself as this started and instead imagine the scene taking place as a lucid dream that I would change. I figured it was good practice and was way more pleasant than letting my mind replay a gruesome double homicide for me!
Thanks
My most recent dream was involving aquatic creatures too... Gratz on the lucid.
Thanks! I read a list of my goals and memorize them every night before bed. It helps me a lot when I get lucky enough to get lucid. And good luck, I hope you get to do your goal soon! :p
Thanks, and I agree. I like nightmares! Well not like as in they're awesome and everyone should have them. But personally, when I have nightmares, and I'm scared in it, when I wake up I realize it was actually kind of cool. And nightmares have more unpredictable scenes for me, and I like surprises, so maybe that's it.
Hahaha you know it!
Very cool! From the sounds of the comment above, I'm guessing you are about Avatar like I am about Harry Potter ... just starts to turn up in everything! (*darn you, internet fanfiction sites*)
I was about to ask what bloodbending was ... but that's what google is for! Have never seen anything of Avatar (actually confused it with Avatar for a while ... wonder why?), but I have to admit, it sounds interesting, and sometime I really ought to find a way to see some of it! Cool stuff!
Oh, very cool! What a neat dream! (Oh, I know, quite possibly scary, but you took control and you won ... and it didn't even required blowing up the city!) I know I might sound like an idiot there, but to me, almost always, even 'scary' dreams are far more interesting to me, than scary. And that was a neat storyline!
Really nice ... so far I have gotten far enough in one dream to remember what my dream goal was, but before I could try and bring it to pass, the aliens were invading, so I didn't get anywhere. I'm happy you were able to fulfill one of yours!
Make it snow in a dream, what a pretty idea! I should try it too, would be a nice break from all this 105+ degree weather
;D
Thanks!
If i was there i would know what to do because i know that Anubis is capable of anything, he is a God. Fighting won't help and neither does running/flying away. It's all a mental test.
Stealing the face of the face stealer - awesome congrats on your victory!
I did, though I left out the lucid and dream controlling aspect. Lol she's skeptical about LDing x)
Lmao. I see dead peopllllleeeee x)
