Jedi mind trick: "You know you want this!" A move right out of the FryingMan play book, well done, this dream has earned the FM seal of approval!

It definitely seems like something that could be incubated and have some success.

I have used spoiler tags before. This was a combination of being too lazy to put in full details combined with a little shyness as well.

Wouldn't it be cool if items were prompting us like this more often? Maybe it can be done with some incubation...

About the details, I meant to put them in a:

      Spoiler for details:

Thank you NyxCC! That screen telling me I was lucid was very nice! I think that is the first time I have been outright told that I am dreaming. On the sexy details, do you mean that I should have included more details?

Congrats on the lds! Really cool that screen was helping you get lucid!

Btw, I think you're supposed to put the sexy details with a spoiler tag.

LOL. Good description, FryingMan. Thanks for the well wishes and keep up the great work! Things have been great lately, but it keeps me so incredibly busy. I'm trying to be less disappear-y this month.

      Keep up the great work!

@CanisLucidus: Great to see you CL! I hope all is going well on your venture!! Yes, got the term from FryingMan. Works exactly how he says in the comment above.

@FryingMan: Thank you for the nice comments and for planting KILD in my mind.

Hey I claim invention of KILD . At least the term , haven't gotten them in a while but used to have a lot of them.

There's not much to it, just make out with a DC and in the process realize you're dreaming. Maybe works better for older married people where kissing some unknown beauty is a novelty

      Excellent dreams, fogelbise!

Kiss-induced lucid dreaming?? Are you going to write a book on this one? It sounds like you have the beginnings of the most popular lucid dreaming technique of all time on your hands! So how does this one work? Oh I see you have a KILD tag! When I get some time I will go through and solve this mystery.

Congrats on Task of the Month!

I recommend starting with DILDs. Check out this section of the forums:
      DILD

...and you may want to start a workbook in that section, it is a great way to track your progress and also gives you a regular place to go back and forth with questions that you have. I currently monitor the DILD workbooks.

Another great way of getting multiple LDs in a night is by using DEILD with natural awakenings or non-abrupt alarm awakenings. It is perhaps a little easier than WILDs, but it is still relatively advanced.

May I ask you a question?
How do you get multiple LD's? I am a beginner and would like to know if you can help me succeed (:

I never really understood this before. It feels like a 2nd initiation into the wonder of lucid dreaming!!

Yeah, it can be so tough to really take the time to explore the environment because the excitement of becoming lucid can be so overwhelming. So it's not something I always have the presence of mind to do, but it's very rewarding. (As we see in this entry!)

Looking forward to more from you like this one! Keep it up.

Thank you for the very nice comments CL! I understand better why you often take the time to really explore the environment of the LD instead of rushing off. This was truly a wonderful LD for me personally!

It is something that I have been exploring as an induction method. I think that I came up with it myself but in doing a search I found others putting forward very similar methods. It started a while back when I had some weird noise in the house during a WBTB and became more alert than usual and became lucid that night. I then noticed on subsequent occasions, that whenever waking up to any odd noises (possibly HH's in some cases or other times forgetting that a window was open and getting sounds from outside...or power goes out wondering if I am dreaming, etc...)...that these different awareness spikes seemed to almost always lead to LDs! So I have been experimenting with pretending that I see or notice something odd and simulating that heightened awareness during a relatively short WBTB and this may be contributing to a higher likelihood of having an LD. I think the more vivid dreams and control is coming from the open beta exercises. It appears that the author hasn't logged into these forums in almost a week, so I am not sure if he is coming back to post the rest of the exercises but I feel that what has been posted so far is a good set of useful exercises. Edit: the exercises are likely also contributing to the "taking control" dream sign I have been getting lately.
